Very disappointing- 1st stop was blocked with construction- had to catch the trolley as it drove by us. 1st driver very informative, suggested lunch at the Emma hotel. Which we did. When we were done, we had no idea where the next trolley stop was- there are no SIGNS advising you where the next trolley stops were. We only found it when we saw some people sitting on a wall. We really wanted to go to the Alamo next, but learned the trollies only go ONE WAY. We got on at stop 3 and the Alamo was stop 12- about an hour away, if we stayed on the trolley. We had no idea that your “ Hop on & Hop off” service would only take you one way, instead of having trollies that went the opposite direction also, if that’s what you needed. Worst experience ever- a total waste of our money & time. The second driver was more interested in telling us what his favorite restaurants were. We definitely DID NOT want to go back for the 2nd day tour.

We had a really frustrating experience with the San Antonio Trolley Tour. A trolley stopped and told us he wouldn’t be taking us because it wasn’t the narrated tour, and that the narrated one would arrive in about 10 minutes. We waited… and waited… and 40 minutes later, no trolley ever showed up. We ended up calling the tour operator, and they told us it would be another 20 minutes before a trolley arrived. Not sure why the driver told us 10 minutes when that clearly wasn’t accurate. The lack of communication and consistency was incredibly frustrating. For a tourist service, that level of disorganization is really disappointing. We wasted a significant amount of time standing around with no updates and no accountability. If you’re planning your day around this tour, be aware that the timing and communication are not dependable.

We toured San Antonio on the hop on hop off trolley tour bus. Our guide was Garrett and he was beyond fantastic. His knowledge was superior.

The drivers were good at sharing information about the city. The buses were clean. A good way to get around if you are new to the city. Buses come every 30 min so if you miss one it seems like a longer wait.

Jim was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable about the area. This is a hop on hop off style tour, but I stayed on the bus the whole time, which is about 90 min long.

Very disappointed. At least 3-4 stops were unavailable. We were told at stop 12 to not get on and walk to a nearby spot (and were assured that he would have bus driver wait for us that we he would radio the request). The directions to get to that stop were convoluted and we missed our bus. We had to walk all over San Antonio to get to the tourist spots because the bus couldn’t take us there because of the closings and being told not to wait for this one to go onto the next one I spent over $100 on something we used for less than 15 minutes the entire day. Very frustrating and extremely disappointing! Would not recommend. Beating myself up for losing $100+ on disappointing tour.

We had a hard time finding the bus stops… perhaps better signage would help? Aside from that both Mo and Garret and the person who checked us in were super courteous! Garret knew his history and both seemed to have a passion for the city of San Antonio.

It was very nice and friendly drive. The only drawback is the waited 60 minutes Instead of 39 minutes at the pick up location Due to some detour. I wish we would have gotten some info About it.

This company was great at communicating when we called them. They were friendly and the information on the tour was interesting. One thing we figured out was that it says it runs every half hour, but that timeline varies a little.
