We enjoyed it. Saved us the hassle of driving in busy San Antonio roads. Be aware of the closing hours before choosing your last stop.

The last bus obviously came to the stop early and did not stay long. We were sitting there at the time we were provided. Subsequently, we missed the bus, missed the majority of the tour we paid $180 for, and had to walk back to the hotel. It was a disappointing experience.

Speakers system on the three buses we were on were muffled. Moe needs to stop talking to himself. Every sentence he spoke so you ask Moe. We did not have to wait very long in between stops.

I learned so much on this tour! The drivers were SO knowledgeable and added “extras” in from their own experiences.

The bus drivers were exceptional! The only thing that keeps me from rating it perfectly were two things: it was almost impossible to get my online tickets with a QR code emailed to me in my aol account as we have done for years. The Viator support team sent me a number, but the bus drivers on site required a QR code. Finally the driver took pity on us, and let us on, but it was stipulated we could not get off and get back on without the QR code. It took over an hour of my tour arguing online for the link to be properly sent to my aol account. The full day excursion ticket with QR came through beautifully, but the hop on hop off did not. What a rotten way to start our short holiday!!! Secondly, the stops were changed but not listed. Some were eliminated due to construction in the city. It was not listed previous to buying the ticket. We planned on utilizing at least two of the eliminated stops extensively and had to uber two days for those stops. That was partly understandable but I wish we would have known that ahead of time. I miss the Big Bus stops! The drivers were outstanding and extremely entertaining and helpful. Mo, Albert, Ian and another gentleman were top of the line.

Traffic, time of day, and construction can make travel between stops longer than advertised. It's not the company's fault. Our driver was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Sorry, I cannot remember his name.
