Fustrating! The positive, our guide Alex was excellent!. Very knowledgeable and passionate. He recomended Tako Petes, and it was affordable and great. Fustrating that they did not let us know ahead of time that with the government shut down that many parts of the tour including all artifacts were shut down. I understand it is not their fault but they should have atleast let us know on the booking page. We did not get what we paid for.

Overall a very good and insightful experience. Great Historical significance to the development of this area of Texas. You will be glad you took this tour as you'll learn so much. It would be helpful to know what is the pick up time as this differs from the start time of the tour. We were not made aware of this until about an hour or so before the tour was to START. This is a great tour. A must see. Hopefully Congress and the President will get together soon so that the National Park portions will reopen! Alex did a great job and was very informative. Appreciated his extra touch. We had rain and one of the missions was closed.

Lovely genuine tour guide but audio on van did not work. No water available. Guide was new and did not know too much. I took 5 friends on this tour and they were not impressed with the tour operator. It was nice that our pick up point was our hotel.

The best time of year for this tour would be spring or fall, because the vast majority of it is outside. And afternoons in San Antonio can reach 100° so morning tours are best. But it's a fascinating tour, definitely worth any discomfort from the heat!

The guide was excellent and pointed out historic things as we drove from one mission to another. Once at a mission location, he always showed us a map of the area so we knew what we were looking at as we walked around. All the churches were open to the public and most of the rest of the area were ruins. We would definitely recommend. My one negative comment is the amount of time spent at each location. I like to read every sign and take the time to really see the churches. I was constantly looking at the time and in a couple cases rushing to get back to the van. Even 5 more minutes at each stop would add to the experience. The guide was able to answer almost every question I asked. He was very knowledgeable.

This was a very nice and informative excursion. We visited four missions and learned a lot about the history of the area and Texas. Domingo, our guide, was very knowledgeable and passionate about this area and he provided many insights. Although some areas were closed for us due to the government shutdown, we didn’t feel as though we missed much.

The tour my husband and I had with Alex visiting the San Antonio missionswas wonderful. Alex is an extremely great, informative story teller. You can tell he loves this job and truly wants his guests to get the most out of the tour.
