Great way to see touristy sights of San Diego! We parked at the Seaport Village knowing we wanted to end up there for dinner. Jumped on the trolley and got off at Little Italy for lunch. Probably would have gotten off at Balboa Park if it wasn’t so hot and then Coronado had we not been there the day before for a walking tour. All the driver’s were knowledgeable, but we have to acknowledge Jack as he was one of our favorites with his engaging antics, not to mention his incredible memory! Hop-on and Hop-off trolley tours are definitely recommended to see areas of San Diego (or other cities) that you may not know about or visit on your own.

At first, I was reluctant to engage in a trolley/tourist experience like this knowing that I could just drive everywhere and get the same thing done, I’m so glad we decided to take the trolley and learn a little bit about the city/area, and the convenience of each location in regards to the sites were more than pleasant. The drivers were very educating and fun.

It was great. The stops are hard to find though unless you are at one of the main points. The conductors were fun and informative.

The drivers are not ok with loud talking because they want everyone to be able to hear them explain about places they drive by…which is nice. Don’t have to wait more than 4-5 minutes for a trolley. Wish it went both directions instead of just 1 way loop.
