The bus was awesome!! Noticed folks taking photos of the bus as we toured the city. Cyrus, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable. He knew the answer to every question. Additionally, he made the tour fun with jokes and anecdotes that charmed all the guests. His energy and enthusiasm for his city made all of us appreciate San Francisco, and inspire future trips. A MUST DO. Worth the money, great fun, so informative.

Fantastic experience. Tara was a blast as a guide. The decent down Lombard is not to be missed! Super easy to meet and the VW bus is so much fun.

Learned so much about the city in a matter of two hours. The guys were friendly and welcoming. Was able to pick up some great recommendations of places to eat and visit while we are in town.

We thought that this tour would be a quirky and unique way to see sights that big busses would just not be able to access and that was right on the money. Our tour guide, Tara, knew her stuff and had a good sense of humor, even mixing in some dad jokes along the way. The restored 1973 VW bus was a hoot and actually more comfortable that we imagined, but be prepared to slide around a bit on the hills as it has vinyl seats as the original busses did. She took us to some locations that were off the beaten path and showed us a number of houses that the 60s and 70s hippy rock stars lived in during the Summer of Love, also telling the stories of what happened there back in the day. All the sites were covered that were highlighted in the description except for one that was closed to the Trump’s government shutdown. The view that we got of the Golden Gate Bridge from Vista Point was fantastic and one that I had not seen before. The only drawback was that we sat in the very back seat and the engine noise when she had to floor it uphills sometimes made her hard to hear, but that is just the way the original bus was. We highly recommend this tour if you want to get the vibe of the Summer of Love in San Francisco.

It is good brief view of the city’s main attractions. Dave was very friendly. We did the tour in the afternoon after just arriving and were able to get a very good idea of the sites and activities that I want to do in the city.

We had a terrific time buzzing around SF with Tara in Maddie's painted up VW Bus. We got to see ALL the high points and learned a ton of fun historical facts about the city and area. We got to see the bridge from several vantage points for some great photo ops. Tons of fun corny jokes made this experience memorable. Highly recommend asking for Tara when you book this tour.
