Our excursion is departing from Valencia city to discover the largest underground river in Europe declared a world heritage site by UNESCO.
An amazing underground labyrinth where the magic of nature comes to life. Stalactites and stalagmites intertwine in a stone dance, while vast rooms reveal the grandeur hidden beneath our feet.
You will: discover the origins of the caves, witness their evolution throughout the years, and behold the breathtaking views of the Sierra de Espadán Natural Park.
We will pick you up from the meeting points in Valencia and right after we will start our adventure driving to ''la Vall d'Uixò''.
After the visit inside the caves (1 hr approx) we will have 30 minutes free time to discover an Iberian Roman settlement (that has incredible views of the region), drink something, have a brunch or just take a rest at the natural area.

It was well organised and there was plenty of useful and interesting information. The trip inself was beautiful, calm and peaceful.. The sensation of gliding through the caves was amazing! At all times our safety was taken into account. Perhps my only criticism would be that the cafeterias didn't open sufficiently early to get coffee before going on the boat.

We reached 4 mins late but the bus waited for us, the pick up and drop was well organised. They will not wait beyond 5 mins. Once we’re picked up, the bus tour guide gives a basic explanation of the buildings around in both spanish and in English - alternating paragraphs. We had never experienced caves before and it was magical. The water was pristine, we could see the waterbed upto 8 metres in the deepest part. It was very peaceful inside, I’m unsure of the coldplay light show the other reviews mentioned because we didn’t experience it. We went on a Friday morning in February end, it was not crowded. We were lucky to get an English guide for the boat, as there are different local guides once you enter the caves. The total time in the cave is 45 mins. The only waste of time was 25 mins before and 25 mins after the cave tour which seemed skippable, where we were asked to simply sit and enjoy the scenery/coffee in one shop that was open. There was a short climb upto a ruin, which was underwhelming, but that’s not part of the tour - it’s voluntary if you want to go see it in the extra time. All in all, it was worth it because the caves felt other worldly, nothing like we’ve ever seen before. Photos don’t do justice to how beautiful it is.
