Upon arrival at Salto do Cabrito, you will find your guide, who will provide you with canyoning equipment and will be 100% ready to have a lot of fun with us.

What To Expect
When we meet at the meeting point, we will do a briefing, we will distribute the necessary material for the activity, then the walk begins until the start of the route, which will count on another security briefing when starting the canyoning, will contain up to 5 different waterfalls that can jump, slide, rapel being the largest with 16 meters that can rapel and then will end in the famous waterfall of the Salto do Cabrito.

5.00Awesome!! Just book it. Did Level 2 canyoning with Rodrigo & Diogo which we booked after reading their amazing reviews. It did not disappoint! These guys were super welcoming & highly knowledgeable; they managed to keep it super chilled and felt as if we were in great hands. The kit they provided was excellent; also loved the tea & biscuits at the end, lovely touch. We would 100% do it again or book on one of their other tours! Cheers guys ! 🤙

5.00We had an amazing experience canyoning with Basaltic Adventures! Our guides, Diogo and Rodrigo, were fantastic — professional, fun, and made us feel safe the entire time. We did the Level 2 canyoning tour, which lasted about 3 hours and was the perfect mix of rappelling and cliff jumping. The wetsuits and gear they provided were top quality, and everything felt very well organized. Their English was excellent, which made communication super easy throughout the adventure. If you’re visiting São Miguel and looking for an unforgettable experience, I would definitely recommend Basaltic Adventures!

5.00Last week we went with the family on this trip and experienced this fantastic adventure! What a great time! Together with the instructors we made the descent, and thanks to them we learned a lot about the surroundings. They are very skilled and take the time to help you. They also know exactly the spots where there is something interesting to tell or do. Together with my 2 children we enjoyed every moment and made beautiful memories. Highly recommended!

5.00Amazing adventure: the guides are exceptional. We went down beautiful waterfalls, cool formations and we learned about nature around us. They showed us hidden hotsprings and made us tea and served a snack. The trip was safe and we stayed warm despite low temperatures and wind. They have very updated equipment, such as two layer wetsuits, new boots and warm gloves.
