This pintxos tour in San Sebastian immerses you in the city’s food culture through a guided walk in the Old Town. Led by a local guide, the experience includes eight pintxos* ranging from classic signature creations to contemporary bites, all made with seasonal products. Each tasting is paired with five drinks: three wines from different Spanish Denominations of Origin, Basque cider, and a traditional local liqueur (non-alcoholic options available).
Between stops, the tour reveals historic squares, centuries-old churches, and lively streets shaped by everyday local life, enriched with stories, anecdotes, and practical tips to continue exploring independently. Designed for small groups the experience combines the best of a gastronomic tour with the informal, social spirit of pintxos culture. It captures why eating in the Basque Country goes beyond nourishment and is understood as a true expression of art and identity.

My husband, daughter and I did the Pintxo and Wine tour in San Sebastián with Ibeth. What an absolute delight she is as a guide . We had the BEST time !!! Our group was small and we were really able to enjoy each others company as Ibeth lead us from one delicious Pintxo to the next, all the while giving us the history of the places and of the dishes. Her beautiful energy and clear love for her work made the experience the absolute highlight of our trip to Northern Spain. Thank you so much Ibeth, we will send all our friends your way!

Great tour of some of the local eateries sampling great food and drink. It was well organised and great fun. Relatively small group meant it was manageable but lively and the guide Iker was really interesting and well informed.

Ibeth was wonderful. The places she took us to, the explanation of the restaurants, the history of the area were all so wonderfully done by her. But mostly, the obvious love she has for the area and food showed every minute we were with her.

This was an incredible introduction to San Sebastián. Ibeth was super friendly, informative, fun and just a really cool person to get to spend 3 hours with…eating and drinking our way through the old town. 100% would recommend this tour. Amazing :)

We try and do a food tour in every city but this one has excelled ! So easy to be confused as to where to hit first without a guide so this tour was excellent. Andre effortlessly guided us to 5 bars reserved tables for pintxos and matched with cider and exceptional local Basque wines . We almost had a private tour as only one other couple so fabulous to chat. Each pintxos has a history and were thoughtfully prepared to highlight the product - local cheese / ham / octopus/ fish/ anchovies , we had the best of it all. Andrea explained each region and their specialty so we learnt so much !! Thanks ao much Andrea we loved the tour and the company as well !

Ibeth was an excellent guide. Very informative, good English and above all FUN. Selection of five bars, some worth a second visit — so we found a few needles in a large haystack.

Very friendly guides, good selection at the pintxos bars, great for a first evening as an orientation, cultural information was a bit lacking.
