This pintxos tour in San Sebastian immerses you in the city’s food culture through a guided walk in the Old Town. Led by a local guide, the experience includes eight pintxos* ranging from classic signature creations to contemporary bites, all made with seasonal products. Each tasting is paired with five drinks: three wines from different Spanish Denominations of Origin, Basque cider, and a traditional local liqueur (non-alcoholic options available).
Between stops, the tour reveals historic squares, centuries-old churches, and lively streets shaped by everyday local life, enriched with stories, anecdotes, and practical tips to continue exploring independently. Designed for small groups the experience combines the best of a gastronomic tour with the informal, social spirit of pintxos culture. 5.00We took a food and wine tour in San Sebastian. Ibeth was our tour guide. She was awesome. Her knowledge of San Sebastian was great. She was also very accommodating We would love having here as a guide on another tour in San Sebastian. If you can request her you should do so.

5.00We had a great tour guide (Victor). He was very funny, which we both really enjoyed. Then he shared interesting details about the food and drinks, as well as about the city itself. The selection of restaurants was very good, so we really had very delicious food and drinks. I myself am a wheelchair user, and this tour was supposed to be wheelchair accessible. I have had different experiences with such tours, but I must really say that this one was wheelchair accessible! Compliments, as others have not managed to make the entire tour feasible for me without problems/without outside assistance.

5.00We had an excellent pintxo tour in San Sebastián with Iker. He’s knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about Basque food culture. The bars were perfectly chosen, the pintxos were delicious, and the explanations about traditions and how locals eat made the experience feel truly authentic. Iker made the tour fun, personal, and easy to follow, and we left full, happy, and confident to explore pintxo bars on our own. Highly recommended!
