This tour is not recommended for children under 15 years of age due to busy, crowded bars and the alcohol focus of this tour. For safety and logistical reasons, guests with very young children or strollers may be refused participation in this tour

What To Expect
A traditional bar awaits as your first stop of the evening. Specializing in mussels, you’ll taste a variety of these along with a Basque cider. Get acquainted with the art of pouring your drink from a height and learn about a cultural phenomenon unique to the area.

This may not be a pintxos bar – but this specialty store is full of Basque and Spanish products that are must-tries. You’ll sample some of their famous cured Iberian ham. In fact, you’ll try not one, but two varieties and get an education into the difference between them.

His knowledge, storytelling, and passion for the subject made the experience both engaging and informative. Having taken several similar tours in Bilbao, I can confidently say this one stood out as the best. What set it apart wasn’t necessarily the food, but the quality of the host. Gorka’s ability to bring the history and culture of the region to life elevated the entire experience. 5.00What a great experience trying a few select tastings of local cuisine and wine in the Old Town suburb of San Sebastian. Begonia our guide was very knowledgeable and an excellent host. It all went very smoothly considering how busy some of the bars were. The food was a great combination from start to finish and we highly recommend this tour.

5.00We had an absolutely wonderful time on this food tour - Gorka was an amazing guide, telling us about the history of the region and taking us to some gems in the area. We definitely tried foods and wines we wouldn’t have otherwise and learned so much about the local culture! Even though the tour was a bit expensive, it was totally worth it! We highly recommend!

5.00Very knowledgeable. Loved hearing about the history of the Basque region, the wines, and food. A great part of the tour was that we had immediate access the pinxtos to some of the most popular bars in the old town. A lovely and well spent 3+ hours.
