What To Expect
Hulhumale
Tour Briefing: Join us for a tour briefing where you'll meet our Tour Guide at Hulhumale Excursion Jetty, scheduled for 09:00 AM. During this session, you'll receive a comprehensive guide to the tour's details. The boat will set sail at 9:30 AM. Hotel Pick-Up Service: If you are staying is in Hulhumale, we offer pick-up service. Please be prepared by 9:00 AM. For those staying in Male' City or arriving from the airport, we recommend taking a taxi to reach Hulhumale Excursion Jetty (Lakudi Jetty) by 9:00 AM. Alternatively, you can make use of the ferry service connecting Male' City and Hulhumale, with the Excursion Jetty located adjacent to the Hulhumale Ferry Terminal. Please note that taxi and ferry charges are not included in the tour price. For guests coming from a Private Resort Island or Crossroads, kindly request your resort to arrange transportation to either Hulhumale or the Airport, as we do not offer pick-up services from Private Resort Islands.
Himmafushi Island
Our adventure begins as we head towards the captivating Sandbank near Himmafushi Island. En route, we'll have the chance to cross the dolphin channel, and if luck is on our side, you may witness dolphins gracefully leaping and frolicking near our boat. This is a thrilling spectacle to behold. Upon arriving at the Sandbank, you'll have the opportunity to partake in various beach activities, capture picturesque moments with your mobile phone, and take a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters. The Sandbank is a truly unique island structure, seemingly in the middle of nowhere, offering an unparalleled experience. Our journey continues as we make our way to the charming local island of Himmafushi. Here, we'll serve picnic lunch for you to savor. Feel free to explore the island, immersing yourself in the local way of life, indulging in some souvenir shopping, and sampling delicious Maldivian snacks—a wonderful opportunity to connect with the culture and traditions of this community.

3.00The crew on the boat were amazing and the boat was luxurious and the lunch lovely. It's just that the snorkeling was on a small area of reef shared by more than 15 other boats, we didn't get to see or stand on any sandbanks, no dolphins (which I understand they couldn't control) so it was overall a bit disappointing and I couldn't help thinking we could have had a similar experience for much less money.

4.00After a somewhat bumpy start with a delay. From 1 hour we set sail with the very experienced team. Contrary to the first impression, the ride brought great joy and overwhelming experiences. The instructor was very concerned about our well-being. Thanks again to the team.

3.00Unfortunately I didn’t have the best experience with UI Maldives. First, the meeting time was 8:30 and check in staff didn’t arrive until 9:00 which was the start of the tour. I spent time looking around the jetty, asking people and thought the tour was cancelled as no one was at there at the stated reporting time, and well after. Second, the boat arrived at 9:30 and the tour was supposed to start at 9:00. Delays are expected and okay, but there was no communication around this. We checked in and were just waiting for further instructions. Third, the tour leader wasn’t the best unfortunately. I asked if a guide could stay close to me as I’m not great at swimming in currents to which he said to get in and practice and if needed a guide will help! Especially as on another tour the leader assigned guides to poor ocean swimmers. The life jacket was entirely ripped on one side and they didn’t have another one my size. I tried contacting them multiple times via Viatour ahead of the tour and received no response. I’m sure there might be positive experiences for others, but I didn’t have the best experience on tour or in dealing with the company prior to the tour, so I wouldn’t recommend this company/ experience.

1.00Let’s see: one hour late. Then the so called boat comes: old, noisy, you’re packed to one another, couldn’t stand the waves. NOT a tour boat for tourists at all. The sandbank is ok for a few photos, lunch just ok. The snorkelling? OMG the unsafest thing ever. Boat was not anchored and you go swim near the “border” of a resort. What is wrong with this tour company!!! Please read this and don’t go!!!!

5.00We had a wonderful full day with UI. The boat sailed along beautiful islands and we saw many dolphins from the boat. We waded to a sandbank and we snorkeled at a great spot with rays, sharks and lots of beautiful tropical fishes. The boat was fine and well equipped for snorkeling and the Indian lunch was excellent. The crew was very friendly, professional, helpful, and caring to make it a memorable excursion. I would definitely recommend this day trip to everyone.

1.00We arrived at the port 30 minutes before the scheduled departure, as instructed by the organizer. Unfortunately, the organizer told us that the trip was canceled due to stormy weather, which we completely understood given the conditions. However, what followed was extremely disappointing. Despite reaching out to both Viator and the local organizer multiple times, we have yet to receive a refund—four months later! This is not the level of professionalism we expected, and it's very frustrating to deal with such poor communication and lack of resolution. No traveler should have to chase down a refund for a service that was never provided. I highly recommend reconsidering booking with this company unless you're prepared to deal with a lot of hassle if things go wrong.

5.00A Fantastic day was spent with a beautiful group of individuals. Alongside my sisters, I had a great time! The staff members, particularly our tour guide, were excellent. This was the best part of our trip to the Maldives so far—everything was fantastic. The entire crew went above and above to make the group feel safe and at ease, and they were all incredibly kind and friendly. They also performed a fantastic job of taking incredible pictures and videos of my sisters and me, and we will always treasure these shared memories. All in all, my trip yesterday was the best day of my vacation, and I just wanted to say thank you to every one of you for all of your hard work and devotion ❫️❤️ wonderful people and great service. I would highly recommend it to everyone. 10/10
