Went with a group of friends and we had a great time with Alfonso & Carlos! They were so accommodating and personable. Our hotel wasn’t originally listed under the pick up location but close to the volcano and they were still able to pick us up and drop us off. Would definitely recommend!

We had an incredible experience on our private Santa Ana Volcano tour with Alonso and Carlos! They were such kind, friendly, and knowledgeable guides who made the entire day enjoyable and stress-free. The hike was great, and they were very accommodating of different fitness and experience levels, making sure everyone felt comfortable. They picked us up and dropped us off right at our Airbnb, which made everything so easy. The lake stop and restaurant were fantastic additions that really elevated the experience. Highly recommend this tour—Alonso and Carlos were amazing!

The moderate difficulty rating was just right for this volcano. My guide Carlos was excellent and there were no issues. I was picked up at my hotel on time and thoroughly answered any and all questions that I have and give me all the history of the volcanoes in the surrounding area.

Would highly recommend! Alonso and Carlos were very nice, informative, and made sure to walk at a pace that worked best for you. We started the hike around 0730 and ended at 1030. It wasn’t overly hot but would recommend Sun protection clothing and long pants. Don’t worry about not having a lot of reviews and just book it!

My husband and I loved this tour so much. We were the first guests at the park, and had the top all to ourselves thanks to our super smart and helpful guides. The hike is challenging, be sure to dress in layers and bring plenty of water. The views are spectacular! A nice trip to the park and lake afterwards offers a chance to relax and sample local cuisine.

The hike is challenging but absolutely worth it - spectacular views! Dress in layers and bring plenty of water and maybe a snack. Don’t be stupid and dress like you’re going to the club.
