This is the best way to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Santa Barbara. Zip around our local bike paths and promenade on one of our newest ebikes. Prepare to see the waterfront bike path, State Street, and several historical sites and picturesque photo spots.
For your safety helmets are required and provided on this bike tour. Every tour varies slightly based on your ability and what you'd like to see. Our private tour guarantees that you and your party will have a custom and personalized tour.

There is a minimum of 2 passengers required in order to operate this tour. If minimum numbers are not met, you will be offered a refund or an alternative date.
Closed-toe shoes are required
Comfortable clothing such as active wear is recommended
Participants must be in good physical condition and capable of riding a bike
Riders must be a minimum of 12 years of age as required by California Law for Electric Bikes
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Ride Santa Barbara's 5-mile seaside boardwalk on a dedicated bike path. Your tour guide will lead you underneath tunnels of palm trees and alongside the nicest beaches on the central coast.

5.00Zach was our tour guide today on this 2+ hour electric bike tour of Santa Barbara. My husband and our two 20 something aged kids had the best time! Zach made the tour interesting with lots of quick “off the beaten path” stops and vistas that we would have NEVER found on our own. The bikes felt new and the electric feature made the whole trip effortless. I can’t recommend CalCoat Adventures and especially Zach anymore highly - 5 stars plus!

5.00Zach was a terrific guide. We loved his stories and SB knowledge, the pace was perfect and he kept us safe on the busy city streets. The bikes were in great shape and easy to ride and the route was a great mix of scenery and novelty. I’ve visited SB all my life and enjoyed so many new places on this tour. 100% recommend.

5.00Neither myself nor my husband had ever ridden an e-bike. The team at Cal Coast did a great job showing us the different ebikes and letting us test drive a few to figure out which bike to ride. Once on the bikes, Alex was a fantastic tour guide. He took us all over santa barbara and had a deep working knowledge about the architecture and history of SB, as well as calling out the names of flowers, trees and animals we saw along the way. Alex made our trip fun and interesting- def a 5 star activity.
