Stearns Wharf
Enjoy the seaside sights and sounds of Stearns Wharf, one of Santa Barbara’s most iconic landmarks. Named for builder John P. Stearns and located at the end of State Street, it is California’s oldest working wharf and the perfect spot to soak up the sun, salty breezes and stunning views of the impossibly blue Pacific. The Wharf was completed in 1872 and served the passengers and freight shipping needs of California’s south coast for more than 25 years. Today it’s one of Santa Barbara’s most visited attractions and a mainstay of the Waterfront district.
East Beach
East Beach is a favorite spot for locals for volleyball (including pro tournaments), skating, paddle sports, art shows and just plain relaxing. It also has a great panoramic view of the Santa Barbara mountains.

Very nice survey of Santa Barbara and neighboring Montecito. Well worth the freight. Recommend doing on first day of a visit to SB.

If you want a thorough overview of Santa Barbara and Montecito, this tour is a great way to do it. You learn a lot about Santa Barbara history, you see some celebrity homes and you can get a good lay of the land before you head out on foot to visit your favorite winery, brewery or beach. And if you've already been tasting one or more of Santa Barbara's many libations, you have a driver to show you the city!

We are looking forward to a tour of Santa Barbara right when we walked onto the tour trolley the operator was already being rude to some of the guests. He explained the general rules of keeping our voices down during the tour. He was a little bit cold with that, but we gave him the benefit of the doubt and the End of the tour. We were all just discussing something, and he decides to reprimand us on and on, and on like everybody on the tour were two-year-olds he was extremely rude and abrupt, and I’ve never had a tour guide like this in my entire life. I would not recommend him as a tour guide for any future tours. We are all here on vacation spending money in the city. And enjoying time off from work, it should be a good experience to be on a tour trolley and it’s upsetting so much to the place and how he talked with everybody rudely on the tour that it spoiled the rest of the day. And by no means am I exaggerating this guy was extremely rude I am hoping other people write a similar review because any of them were saying the same thing when they got off the two hour trolley. They cannot believe what it has taken place by this man. He said he’s been a tour guide for 25 years he needs to retire.
