Heiberto was the best tour guide for the job of exploration and cultural discovery! I would recommend anyone that wants to see the true Dominican Republic in all its beauty to book any one of his tours. Heriberto was always smiling and explaining the different historical sites and best places to travel. He told me about the beautiful red sunsets of Bayahibe. The beaches were breathtaking and a short snorkeling trip made my entire week! We explored “night at the museum” with local museums open their doors for free to see their beautiful art in the European district. San Domingo was beautiful! He provided great recommendations for authentic and delicious food. I felt like he was part of the family not just a guide! 100% recommended Heriberto for any and all Adventures!

Heriberto was an amazing guide! He's excellent at forming bonds with the people he tours, which made the experience so incredibly fun. You could see that no matter where he goes, he has a lovely connection with the locals, and he is so well informed, leaving us with a variety of interesting facts about Santo Domingo's history and the places we had seen, both inside and outside the city. He's easy to talk to, keeps things candid, and makes sure that the tour is enjoyable and insightful.

Heriberto was so knowledgeable on the culture and history of the places he tours. We went to the bateyes where we learned about the tragic history of the sugarcane cutters. How the community still strives despite all the hardship laid out before them. It was such an eye opening experience on the price of the sugar we use everyday. Heriberto interacted with the town people as if they were all his close friends. Easy to talk to in English and spanish and extremely inviting! He is also a really chill and fun tour guide! Now I'm looking forward to doing his other tours when I return 😁

I will start by saying that Heriberto is an incredible host. His passion for his work exceeds any initial expectations, and it is clear from afar that he has a deep love for what he does. Every morning he welcomed us with a smile and enthusiasm that I have seen in very few people. The experiences we had were exciting, but it was Heriberto who added that special touch that made this a trip I will never forget. To conclude, I want to thank you, Heriberto, for dedicating so much time and patience to us. You never offered me a no as an answer without first looking for an alternative or solution. You are incredible, and for that reason, I would never hesitate to have you as my guide and host in your beautiful country again.

We had such a great experience with our tour guide throughout our trip in the Dominican Republic. He was with us for most of the trip and made everything feel organized, fun, safe, and memorable. He is super knowledgeable about the history, culture, and different areas we visited, especially during our tour in Colonial Santo Domingo, where he explained the history of the preserved sites and helped us really appreciate what we were seeing. He also seems to know everyone everywhere we go, which honestly made the experience even better. Whether we were in Santo Domingo or Bayahibe, he knew great places to visit, where to go out, and how to make sure everyone had a good time. Even when we went out at night, he made sure the group stayed together, knew where we were going, and felt safe the whole time. He was friendly, funny, easy to talk to, and very aware of the group’s needs. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does and cares about giving people a great experience. I would definitely recommend him to anyone visiting the DR who wants a guide who knows the history, the culture, the local spots, and how to make the trip fun while still making everyone feel safe and taken care of.
