We had a panoramic tour with 19 participants led by Agathe. She was amazing - knowledgeable, positive, funny and with so much love of Santorini. We had people with different mobility issues and all were happy. Thank you Agathe for this unforgettable tour!

We had a large group of 19 who booked a half-day afternoon tour in Santorini. One member of our group is physically limited to walking steep grades, long distances, or on uneven surfaces. We had the lovely Agathe as our tour guide. While I’ve been on many guided tours all over the world, I have to say, Agathe was THE BEST guide I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing. She was knowledgeable, professional, funny, and just the life of the tour that our big group wanted to kidnap her and bring her back onto our cruise ship with us. She showed us all the highlights and must-see areas of her lovely island of Santorini. She even managed to get out physically limited traveler in our group to walk a decent distance so as not to miss one of the best viewpoints in all of Santorini. If you ever book a tour in Santorini, definitely book with this tour agency and if at all possible, request Agathe as you will have the best experience possible, I promise you! Honestly, we didn’t want our tour to end. Everyone loved her and she is such a natural at doing this job, her love for her Greek island was evident while she showed us all the highlights of Santorini. I’ll never forget my visit here, and Agathe was the biggest reason for the awesome time I had experienced in Santorini.

Agatha’s energy and smile were nice to see! Unfortunately Santorini was way too busy with 4 cruise ships in port that day! 1 hour line to go up cable car and 1.5 hrs to come down with no time in Fira at all (if you didn’t want to miss your boarding call)! Oia was the highlight of the visit to Santorini and a far second was the black sand beach.

Today we went on a private tour of Santorini with Kathrin Vogel. She picked us up right at the tender boat and took all of our wishes and needs into account. There were four of us, the oldest was 87. We can only recommend this tour and especially Kathrin Vogel. From planning, booking, implementation to completion, it was an absolute highlight. Thank you very much!

Santorini is beautiful, no doubt. We were glad to have a tour option with "minimum walking," as we were traveling with my 86-year-old mother. She is pretty able-bodied for her age, however walking for long distances or standing for long periods of time can be a challenge, so this seemed like the perfect choice. This tour offered various points of interest for photos, which we enjoyed. The van was comfortable. Katerina was our guide, and she was open to answering whatever questions we had for her. The last portion of the tour was free time in Oia; we were eager for this part, as Oia is so picturesque--of course we wanted to see the most famous views (blue domed churches, the windmills, etc). Our guide verbally told us which way to go if we were opting to try to find these things, though Oia is maze-like (which Katerina admitted she too got lost there once), and once we were on our way, it was unclear exactly where and how far in the vantage points would be. We were also needing some kind of food break by that point, as we'd had an early start (to get the tender boats over from the cruise ship and then stand in line for the cable car) and were not allowed to take any snacks along from the ship. We walked a bit into the town looking for the points of interest, but between the heat and needing a lunch break, my mother was fading fast and couldn't endure walking any further--so she and I found the nearest food option (a sit-down restaurant) while my husband and son went on to try to find the points of interest. We were given a little over an hour in Oia, but for us it was a bit short considering what we needed/wanted (food and the sights). We had to rush our time at the restaurant to hustle back to the meeting place in time. It felt like it was hard to fully absorb the time at Oia because we were rushing to accomplish things and navigate through the many other tourists. Everything else was timed well--we enjoyed the short time at the Black Beach, and the other photo stops. But I would have enjoyed just a bit longer of free time in Oia, and an actual paper map showing which roads to take and where to go for the views of the churches/windmills. I know that sounds like a silly request in the age of smart phones and Google maps, but Google maps doesn't tell you which churches are the ones you are looking for, nor does it tell you where you want to stand to view them over this busy, maze-like town. A little more specific direction would have been welcomed. If a person opted to just stay close to the meeting point for shopping or a snack, then the allotted time would have worked out just fine. Also, FYI to travelers that Santorini was extremely busy when we went in July. There were four cruise ships there (and there can be potentially more). There was a flood of people, and Oia particularly was difficult to walk through just for that reason. I would have enjoyed it more if we didn't go during the high season, but that's just how it was--not the fault of the tour. Its just a popular place to be. Also, its important to know that walking through Oia includes frequent steps with slick marble edges, and can start to get hilly--so if walking is an issue, be mindful of that if you want to explore the town.

Great tour! Guide was very knowledgeable. But we had friends do a tour that was 1/3 price and saw and did the same things. So it’s pricey for the location …
