5.00This was my second time with Capt Makis & Ilia and somehow they managed to make the tour even better than the first time! We had a morning filled with laughter, amazing stories, and food. I will book this tour every time I’m in Santorini!

5.00We had a fantastic time! Our group included 2 families, 10 total, mix of adults and kids. The boat had plenty of room and the captain and host were so friendly, informative and accommodating. The kids had a great time snorkeling and we all enjoyed the dinner. 2 thumbs up, we would highly recommend!

5.00One of the highlights of our trip to Santorini! We spent a wonderful day on the water with our family, enjoying the beautiful scenery, learning about local fishing, and catching fish along the way. The captain and crew were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making everyone feel comfortable and involved. We stopped for snorkeling and they made us a delicious meal with our catch. It was a perfect mix of relaxation, adventure, and authentic local experience. We especially appreciated how welcoming they were to families and also how comfortable the boat is. Highly recommend this trip for anyone looking to experience a different side of Santorini

5.00Family Favorite! We enjoyed a morning tour. They were so flexible with us as we needed to leave a hour later. The kids (age 11-20) loved getting to catch the fish they prepared for us. We enjoyed swimming at the volcano hot springs & a beautiful snorkeling spot. The paddle board was a great plus! The food was some of the best we had all week. The tomato fritters were a family favorite. We loved this authentic experience and learning more about the fishing and Santorini culture. A must do if in the area.

5.00AMAZING fishing trip with Capt Makis & Ilia from Pirate Fishing Tour. As a well-known local commercial fisherman, Capt Makis fished the waters of the Aegean Sea around Santorini his entire life. Being a passionate angler, I wanted a true local experience and glad I came across Captain Makis. His techniques truly show his experience and knowledge of the local waters, knowing where, when, and how to get to the fish at 1000-1200 feet. Within literally 5 minutes I was hooked up to my first ever 6lb Golden Grouper, followed by another nice 9 lber and then a few more! Capt Makis cleaned and grilled my catch paired with a fresh made salad, and his delicious tomato fritters. Ilia was very knowledgeable, entertaining, and provided a helpful history of the different islands around Santorini. We shared our meal like we were long-term friends with many laughs in between. 5.00This tour was definitely a top experience in our Greece trip. My family and I took this trip as a recommendation from a coworker. The stories/history on the tour were intriguing and entertaining. Dinner was caught as we were touring around the islands and the meal was delicious. Captain Mikas and Ilias were amazing hosts, from tour, to stories, to dinner and instagram worthy pics! Take this tour, you will not regret it

5.00Our five hour day trip with Capt. Makis was the highlight of our Greek island-hopping campaign. Capt. Makis and 1st Mate IIlis were both wonderful company, communicate effectively (they both speak great English), and their hospitality was world-class. I’ve been fishing since I was a child and have done charters all over the world. Pirate Fishing Charters is as fine an outfit as you could hope to find, and this service is ideal for couples, families, kids (over age 5), or a boys trip! Thanks again, Lads! 5.00This experience was just excellent. My husband and I had a wonderful time with Mikas we had our own guided tour, caught fish and had a stunning bbq. I read an article in the telegraph newspaper about Mikas and the trips he offered and booked our sunset fishing cruise straight away. I’m so very happy I did and would highly recommend this wonderful experience.

5.00If you are in Santorini this is a must tour. The captain is a local legend and his first mate has so much knowledge of the area and the history. This is not just a fishing trip but and experience filled with true stories of the captains 30 years on the water
