Thing to bring: Warm clothes, scarf, hat, cap because the weather in Sapa is pretty unpredictable. It is normally cold in September, October, November, December, January, February and March
Thing to bring: Due to altitude of Sapa, it is sometimes foggy in December, January, February and March.
Thing to bring: Trekking shoes, sun glasses, sun cream, insect repellent are also necessary. You should take cash with you in Vietnam Dong because banking system in Sapa sometimes doesn’t function well. US Dollar, Euro, Australia Dollar are accepted in Sapa.
Thing to bring: You should take medicine with you although there are some chemist’s shops in Sapa in case you get sick.

Cat Cat village
Trekking distance is about 3,5 kms and it lasts for 2 hours 14.30: A short walk to the gate of Cat Cat Village which is home of Black H’mong ethnic people and is located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak. Our local guide will show you the daily life activities of the locals, trek down to the valley bottom to the waterfall where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station, stop for photo with bridge and waterfall then you will walk uphill for bus to pick up to get back to Sapa in the afternoon. 16.30: Come back to Sapa Town. Have dinner and overnight in hotel with night activities. Meals included: Lunch, Dinner

14.30: Check in bungalow; get to know the family of Dzay People. Spend time to enjoy the mountain life on Sunset. You may attend cooking local dishes with the family and enjoy dinner in peace. 8.00: Have breakfast prepared by the family and start a new day with more interesting trek. 8.30: Keep walking to the rice paddies where you have a nice photo session of the amazing surrounding landscapes; a trek through the bamboo forest; stop to have a panorama view of Giang Ta Chai village – home of red Dzao People. Trekking distance is about 3 kms and it lasts for 3.5 hours 11.00: Trek through the Giang Ta Chai Bridge to main road, 12.00 - 12.30: Have lunch.

13.00-13:30 : Bus picks you up to come back Sapa Town , Relax and leisure on your own, have shower in the public bathroom in the hotel if you want. 14.00: Meet all group members at hotel to get ready for Hanoi.

5.00Our guide Cat was great, she told us stories and trivia about everything and could answer all of our questions regarding nature, life, and in general about living in the valley and mountains and the day to day life there. She was very open and honest and good fun and obliged to all of our wishes and stops to take pictures or just goof around. Perfect guide, can only recommend.

5.00The experience was amazing if you are up to something authentic and wild. Everything is included except for the drinks. Chang is an excelent tour guide, patient and very insightful if you are curious about the customs and traditions in the village. Long story short - book it ASAP for a different flavour of Vietnam!

5.00We decided to go on the 3 day tour in Sapa! The first day we spent in Sapa and Cat Ca. Our tour guide was Vu. A very dear person and very patient as we were a bit sleepy and tired from the sleeper bus. We also tried the slide there. Very funny. You absolutely have to do it! We spent the night at Sapa Charm. Actually fit well, is just a mega-sized hotel with many, many Asian tourists and you can't compare it to European standards. On the second day we made the tour to Fansipan extraordinarily in the morning. Which is really recommended. In the afternoon we made up for the trekking tour in the villages. I can make a clear recommendation for this. Local women from the village accompanied us. This accompaniment with a bit of tipping or buying souvenirs supports their livelihood. So please remember and support the women from the mountain villages. Our guide was Cat, by the way. A super funny woman to joke with and who tells you a lot about life here and out of hers. Thank you Cat for that and good luck with your future life! The second night we spend in a home stay in the village ... The bungalow is purist but very lovingly decorated. Since it is winter they have also prepared an electric blanket. Central heating systems as in Europe are not common here. About the third day I can't really say what we're going to eat at the homestay.
