We had a wonderful experience during this tour. On arriving Sapa we had lunch and visited the Cat Cat Village which has a nice atmosphere. We went on a longer hike on the next day which offered beautiful scenery and we also got to meet lovely Hmong people. We had plenty of rest breaks and the hike went really well - thank you to the Hmong people who helped us along the way when the terrain became a little harder from time to time. The homestay was enjoyable with a special feel staying in a bungalow albeit the basic facilities. The second hike on the last day before leaving Sapa was just as good as well. Our guide Mu with Vietnam Travel Top spoke English very well and was pleasant and informative. Thank you again Mu!

We had Su as our tour guide who was amazing!! She was so kind, shared so much knowledge about the villages, rice fields, and Sapa history. We loved learning about the local culture from her throughout our trekking. Trekking was a bit difficult (for us 2 city people) - 2 hours of up and down through the rice fields and 2 hours of flat pavement. I would advise bringing good hiking shoes that will get muddy!

I was a little disappointed because we didn’t quite get what was promised in the description. We were told we’d cook with the locals at our homestay, but in reality, the meal was just fried chicken, French fries, and some dry vegetables. Our guide was very kind, but she didn’t explain much during the trip. The trek itself was quite steep, muddy, and very tiring — but if you’re the adventurous type, I’d still recommend it. We stopped to rest at one point, and several locals approached us to sell things. It felt a bit uncomfortable because we felt pressured to buy something. We purchased from one woman, but then others also wanted us to buy from them, and it became a bit overwhelming. I completely understand that it’s not easy for them, and I have a lot of respect for their situation — but travelers shouldn’t feel pressured to make purchases.

Great and genuine immersion into rice paddies villages and traditions. Schdedule very well sync'ed, no wasted time and good mix between free time and guided activities. Highly professional guide. Hotel and homestay were both in full line with expectations
