  This was an incredible and unforgettable experience with May. You truly do get off the beaten track and see areas you would not normally see (I saw no other tourists!). The scenery, the villages and the people on this thrilling ride will never be forgotten. I was able to ride my own bike and had so much fun doing so. I also learned so much about the people, the culture and the way of life of those in the area. May was outstanding and the lunch she made was delicious! I would do this again in a heartbeat and highly recommend this tour.

  This was an incredible experience. We got to villages most tourists don't see and saw incredibly scenery. Lan was an incredible tour guide and I learned so much about the culture of the area and the Red Dao people (I hope I've spelt your name right!). Despite getting off the beaten track, there were good toilet opportunities (essential as it was a full day) and a really substantial lunch. Highly recommended!

  Great day away from the urban chaos of Sapa. We were picked up from our hotel on time and climbed on the back of bikes driven by very careful riders who made us feel safe at all times (we had no experience with bikes). They took us on a day long adventure through the rural countryside around Sapa which included a lovely lunch over looking a valley of rice fields, followed by a hot medicine spa which was awesome!!! Returned safe, a little sunburnt but very happy. Mae Ling was helpful, informative and fun. Definitely recommend this tour!!

• Authentic rural experience in Sapa

  We had a great time with Mae. At first she arrived with an easy rider but when I said I wanted to drive, she quickly adjusted the plan for that to happen. We left Sa pa city center and drove through the mountains. Mae invited us to lunch at her house which we were delighted - we got to meet her father in law and son and other neighbors from her village. It is a truly authentic experience seating and eating in this remote village. We had some neighbors wanting to sell souvenirs but they were never pushy and Mae was always very thoughtful and protective. We ended up buying an amazing bracelet from Mae, made by her father in law while we were having lunch. After when we returned to Sa pa Mae helped us getting tickets to fansipan before leaving us. Thank you Mae for an amazing day - meeting you was the highlight of Sa Pa!

  Fun way of seeing Sapa on a motor bike. May was a great tour guide. The lunch was also good. Would recommend.
