This was a great introduction to a visit to Sarajevo. We got to sample a good number of traditional local foods in spots where I might not venture on my own. We also visited some local craft stores. Benjamin, our guide was friendly, accommodating and very knowledgeable about Bosnian culture. The walking was relaxed with just the right amount of time in each spot. Thanks very much.

We really enjoyed our 2 hour walking tour with Ajna. She showed us the important sights in Sarajevo but also told us a balanced narrative in the city and its history. Would definitely recommend a 2 hour tour because I don't know how you could see and learn all of this in just one hour We did not do the food tour but that was the only option I could find on trip advisor that was close.

Kiki was an amazing guide. She was so sweet and knowledgeable about the food and the history of Sarajevo. She was also great with my daughter who can be kind of shy, by the end of the tour she was holding Kiki’s hand and told me how much she liked her. We loved the experience and the food was outstanding. We go on lots of tours as a full time traveling family and my daughter told me this one was her favorite overall. So well thought out and a great selection of Bosnian comfort food. Bring your appetite!!

This was a fantastic tour with wonderful guides. I would highly recommend it if you are looking to sample some of Sarajevo’s “traditional” foods and to learn some of the cultural aspects of the cuisine. Be sure to arrive with an appetite.

I booked a tailor-made tour with Meet Bosnia on the recommendation of relatives of a friend of Bosnian origin. I wanted a tailor-made tour in French that allows my children of 7 and 13 years to discover history and culture in a "fun" way, hence the gastronomic tour, but adapted with historical explanations (via architectural differences of the buildings, the Sarajevo roses, or the Latin bridge...) Arna was very attentive to our needs and those of the children, and allowed us to give us in 4 hours a global view of the different parts of the rich history of Bosnia, but also the complexity of the economic and political situation of the country. His French is very good, having worked for some time in Neuchâtel as an interpreter. His historical knowledge, but also his experience of recent history, gives him strong legitimacy as a guide. Many thanks to her for her insights and for sharing. Before the tour, the agency was very responsive to my requests, I was able to talk to her via whataspp to explain what we needed. The communication was excellent. I recommend 100%.

My husband and I arrived in Sarajevo today. It is my first visit and his first time back in almost 30 years, so finding the right introduction to the city felt important. I found the food and artisans tour through Meet Bosnia but the timings did not work for us. I contacted them directly to ask about arranging a private tour and they were incredibly helpful. We arrived at our hotel at around 1pm and were able to start the tour at 3, which was perfect. It has been a wonderful introduction to Sarajevo. We were delighted to meet Arna, our guide. She is clearly proud of her city and has a genuine love for it which comes across very naturally. Sarajevo is a place that wears its heart on its sleeve and Arna helps you understand that in a very real and thoughtful way. At the start she gave us a really useful overview, not a rigid itinerary but more an insight into what we might notice in people, behaviours and the general atmosphere of the city. It helped us see things we would otherwise have missed. She was warm, open and completely authentic. There was never any pressure to buy anything or to spend longer in certain places, which we really appreciated. The experience felt very relaxed and personal. As we walked through the city she pointed out places of significance, suggested locations to return to and gave us some excellent restaurant recommendations. It was also clear that she knows the city and its people well, which added to the sense of being properly immersed. I do not want to overstate it, but hearing Arna speak about her own experiences during the war and the siege of Sarajevo was one of the most interesting and meaningful conversations I have had on any tour. What stays with me most was her perspective, which is positive, forward looking and rooted in a genuine desire for unity and happiness. The food and drinks were all delicious and gave us a great introduction to the local culture, but what really made this tour stand out was the depth of connection and understanding it offered. Sarajevo is a fascinating and complex city and this felt like the perfect way to begin to understand it. Meet Bosnia and Arna are excellent. If you are considering booking this tour, I would absolutely recommend

Elma was absolutely amazing! She took me to small shops and taught me the history of each street. She allowed us to try local food, some that are fading with time. I enjoyed hearing her stories and turn food she introduced me too. It was a wonderful experience and worth every penny.

The tour was absolutely amazing. By the end, our stomachs were completely full. :) Kiki was incredibly sweet and truly the best guide we could have asked for. We learned so much about Sarajevo’s rich history, discovered beautiful local craftsmanship, and tasted authentic food from places that have been around for over 100 years. Along the way, we also met many kind and welcoming locals, which made the experience even more special. These four hours with Kiki felt less like a tour and more like a friend showing us around Sarajevo. I highly recommend this experience, and especially recommend our wonderful guide, Kiki. :)
