Fantastic morning war tour of Sarajevo. We were lucky enough to have Enes as our tour guide, who had so much knowledge to share. He made everything fascinating, with his passion and humour. Ended the tour with a shared beer with our guide and brief friend. 😀

The tour was very interesting and informative. Our veteran guide shared powerful stories about the war, the Olympic Games, and his own personal experiences. We visited key locations of the attacks. I recommend it to everybody.

We've had a very interesting and inspiring tour. We were touched by the personal stories on the war by the two guides. The experience could not have been any better.

I thought the tour was fantastic, I am currently travelling Europe and have been on lots of different tours but this is by far the best. The guide Mustafa was amazing I had really good conversations about the history and how people felt and helped my understand it from the perspective of people here compared to the western perspective. His experiences and knowledge was fantastic about Yugoslavia as a whole was fantastic

Booked this for my first day in Sarajevo and had a fantastic time. The driver picked me up from my hotel and even drove around the airport 3 times to try and find 2 other guests who eventually turned up- very good of him, I'd have given up after the first attempt! The tour was excellent, all thanks to the guide who became more like an old friend. He was enthusiastic and not scared if sharing his opinions. I learnt alot about the Bosnian war from him. The Tunnel of Peace was interesting but the stop at Trevebic Mountain was the highlight- despite terrible weather, he took us for a walk around and along the bobsleigh track with amazing views over Sarajevo. At the end of the tour, the guide offered several drop off points close to all of our hotels/accommodation. I'd thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Sarajevo.

This was an important, educational day led by the warm, knowledgeable Adnan, a political scientist and veteran of the Sarajevo Siege. For those with only a vague recollection of the time, Adnan filled the blanks with a history of region and a detailed account of then-contemporary happenings thru visits to the war tunnels, the '84 bobsled run and the Jewish cemetery, the latter used by snipers to massacre others. One leaves with a sense of heroics by so many and the sadness of the cruelty some can impart on our fellow human beings.

We booked with Funky Tours, who were great. Our tour guide Adnan and explained things so well, even the video at tunnel of hope he went through with us, and we had a much more better understanding of the area we were in, and first hand knowledge from someone who fought, and experienced everything. Definitely recommend going on this tour.

Great tour. Very informative and interesting. Mak told us about his personal life story which was very moving and took us around all the major sites, explaining what each of them were. He was very open and answered all the questions we asked.

Our guide Mustafa was fabulous, he was an engaging storyteller with personal experiences of the siege and the tunnel having lived through it. He was happy to answer questions and tell us about that which we wanted to know more. The stops are a great way to see the city and learn more about the siege. The views from the mountain were lush and it was cool to see the bob sled track. It felt like the stops were never rushed and you could explore at a reasonable pace. The cost of the tour provides entrance to the museum of the tunnel as well which is good value for money.
