We had a wonderful time on this tour! Gail was a great guide, with plenty of anecdotes for each of the tasting stops and interesting sites along the way. Each of the restaurants and dishes gave a fuller picture of Savannah. We also had a great time chatting with the other guests on the tour!

Knowledgeable tour guide and good places we stopped at. Walked about a mile or less. Honey was very good at end of tour

Heather started us off and we knew it was going to be a good experience. The group was all friendly and she brought us all together quickly. The choices and walk were great. Pie Society was a nice start. We ate at Common, Andaza, and Rhett. All great and we always felt the attention. Heather was great as a guide sharing perfect stories and keeping it light. Make this your first choice if you want to do a walking food tour.

We had a great day with Gail. She was very knowledgeable and a fun guide. Food bites were ample and delicious. Great introduction to Savannah food favorites. Loved the places that we stopped and saw so much of the market district and close by.

This tour starts with some items made from products for sale at the Savannah Taste Experience and ends with honey sampling at the Savannah Bee Company. The walk around the historic & riverfront area was nice; you visit 4 restaurants for food sampling as you go. The food was okay but a bit disappointing in a town with some great dining options. The information on Savannah was interesting. The biggest problem with our particular tour was that it was not a small group experience. There were 14 of us. We felt squished in 3 places and were separated in the other 3 places. The next challenge was communication about our food preferences. Our guide, Lisa, didn't seem to be aware that three of us needed alternate dishes even though we confirmed this with the tour group. She then spent a long time explaining one of the dishes we couldn't eat while not mentioning the alternate for the three of us; she seemed annoyed when we asked her what we were being served. Lastly, it was indicated the tour lasted about 3 hours. Ours lasted 4 hours, which left us without enough time for our next planned activity for the day.
