5.00The whole trip was incredibly informative. Chris has a wonderful knowledge of the whole area. We explored areas we could never have seen by road and we covered quite a distance! The truck was comfortable and you got great views from any seat. Our family from the UK chose this as a highlight from their trip. It really is a must do whilst visiting the area.

5.00We met our tour guide (and expert off-road driver!) Ben and headed out into the backcountry by 4WD — and wow. The Braemar Station Backcountry Tour absolutely delivered. Sweeping high country views, epic landscapes in every direction, and even a glimpse of Aoraki/Mt Cook standing proudly in the distance. 🏔️ Brochure promise? “Discover the splendor of Braemar Station’s high country and glimpse Aoraki/Mt Cook while exploring one of New Zealand’s most stunning landscapes.” Rating: 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Would happily get tossed around in a 4WD again. New Zealand, you are starting to show-off.

5.00We had a fun ride with Christina (owner) and another couple of guests. We drove on the crests of the MacKenzie Station farm and saw sheep, cows, hares, fallow deer, and red deer. We had great views of Mt Cook. Christina was very interesting and knowledgeable and filled us in on more of the 'local' history. We met LARRY (her sheep) and his friends.

5.00We booked this tour on spec while we were in Tekapo and it was a great decision. It turned out that we were the only people on the tour so it felt like a personal rather than a group tour. Actually, because our guide Bill was so good it felt like a drive out with a mate. Conversation flowed very easily and Bill had loads of detailed local knowledge and history. We got to see places we would never have got to on our own.
Outstanding guide to Case Valley with detailed tips, stunning photos, and engaging commentary. They made our day !
