Actually we really enjoyed the trip . Would have liked helmets with microphone in it to get more commentary on the ride. The guide did give lots of info before the ride and at the peak.

Great experience on super trike through countryside up to the Peak. Ride is thrilling as you cruise along the straight away roads and the twists and turns. Sure to be a highlight of your stay in Napier.

We had an absolutely fantastic tour of Te Mata Peak with Phil on his Supertrike! This is probably the most fun you can have and a marvelous way to tour through the countryside on the way up to Te Mata Peak. We were only in for the day on a Viking cruise, and reached out by email. Phil was great, looking at the ship's schedule and helping us pick out a time for the tour. He also followed the ship's schedule and reached out the night before to say, it looked like we were coming in 30 minutes later than plan, but no worries, he would adjust the start time to accommodate. The trike was a blast, with plenty of room, even for a larger guy like me. It has to be the best way to feel like you are on the open road. It was really quite exhilarating!
