Be aware of what your booking because the trip advertises it to go to Henningsvaer plus an arctic style tapas dinner well that didn’t happen I contacted Viator and the reply back was basically the tour operator didn’t care

Same boat as my earlier Trollfjord cruise but went to a different area around smaller islands and closer to Sea Eagles. Nice slow paced cruising in a very scenic area. The only downsize were the RIB boats that get in even closer and some even feed the Eagles which this Cruise Company (Brim Explorer) does not do. If you want a seat on the outside second deck get there fast as it will fill up quickly and they will not budge.

Same boat as the morning cruise but a different route through smaller islands. Saw many Sea Eagles but a little far away. RIB boats get closer but disturb the area and some feed the Eagles. All in all a nice cruise in a beautiful part of the world.

This became the highlight of the Svolværturn. Both my old mother and my three teenagers had a fantastic trip, super nice and helpful people aboard and a steward who made everyone feel welcome. We would love to come with this boat another time as well 😀

What can be better that spending evening on a brand new boat, watching the sunlight play with the fjords, while you get spoiled by knowledgeable and handsome Norwegian crew? So, why should you choose this particular tour where there are many others to choose from? First the boat itself offers comfort, safety and possibility to stay warm and dry, or stand outdoors if you wish so. Food we’ve got served was local, and way better than in any Svolvær restaurants we’ve tried. Please notice that it is not full meal, but there are many continental dishes to choice from at additional (reasonable) cost. We were served local snacks (stockfish, almonds in seaweed flavour and aquavitt-snaps) at departure, and warming fish soup on our way back. Absolutely stunning views above and underwater. The town of Henningsvær is the prettiest in Lofoten, full of art galleries, smal cosy restaurants and quite special fotball pitch.
