This tour offers 2 different kayaking options for you to choose from: Seal Kayak tour and the Sunset Kayak Tour. It is the first kayak tour in New Zealand to offer hands free kayaking. Now with the largest human muscle group in play, kayaking becomes easier and more efficient than ever.
Come get up close and personal with the New Zealand fur seal as they play around and under your hands free pedal kayak. Taking photos/selfies have never been easier now you can capture all your moments without stopping!

Seal Kayak tour
All Seal tours are guided with a 100% chance to see the New Zealand fur seal. The seal kayak tour runs for 2.5 - 3 hours.
Sunset Kayak Tour
The Sunset Kayak tour is my personal favourite with still a 100% chance to encounter the New Zealand fur seal it the best way to Finnish your day in Kaikoura.

5.0This Seal Kayaking excursion was awesome! Connor was our guide and he was super knowledgeable about the Kaikōura coastline, and the wildlife living there. The foot pedal Kayaks used by this company are very easy to peddle and steer which gives you the ability to take pictures of the animals in the water. During our trip, we had a small pod of dolphins swimming around us, we saw native a blue penguin, and several coastline birds. My husband and I were lucky enough to get a very small tour, and when my husband started feeling seasick, Connor was very accommodating. What a great company and guide!

5.0We had a great time, the pedal kayaks are the best kayaks I’ve been in very easy and steady. We saw seals and also luckily to see a few glimpses of dolphins. The staff were very friendly and informative. We had a great morning.

5.0I was a little worried about my fitness level, but the peddling option was easy. You are just cruising slowly taking in the sites so there is no hard physical activity. The back support chairs are super. The weather was perfect, so very fortunate. Didn't see as many seals as I was hoping but that's just luck of the draw. The scenery and birdlife was great.
