This stunning pedal-kayak experience guarantees views of fur seals, and sightings of dolphins are quite common as well. This adventurous trip is suitable for family and friends, and allows people of all ages to experience this beautiful and unique sight. Our guides, (Charlie and Bailey) were kind and helpful, and kept us interested with informative facts and the occasional sighting of dolphins and seals. I highly recommend and encourage all ages to join this breathtaking sight, and the trip offers much more than just seal watching. — Roan

We booked this having never used a pedal kayak and unsure of what to expect. The kayaks are really comfortable and easy to use - far easier than a paddle kayak. Waterproof bags are provided as well as good quality spray jackets and buoyancy aids. We had a brilliant experience out on the water in a small group led by Logan. He was friendly, relaxed and knowledgeable about the wildlife and the area and shared lots of fascinating facts, as well as offering to take photos for each individual kayak - a really nice touch. We got up close to seals and all sorts of sea birds and it was a wonderful way to spend a morning. If in doubt, definitely book this trip - we loved it!

This trip was amazing!! Levi was a great guide, and all the team were really quick and helpful when rebooking us due to potential bad weather. Levi was really knowledgeable, we felt so safe and had the best time! It’s an absolute must do if you’re in Kaikoura

We had an amazing tour with Logan and Bailey. The pedal powered kayaks were the best kayaks I’ve ever used. The guides were very informational and friendly, even offering to take photos for us. We also had a beautiful day on the water. In the first 15 minutes we spotted a pod of hector dolphins, an albatross, and a little blue penguin. Highly recommend this tour.

Me and my partner had an absolutely fantastic time on our seal kayak tour. Our guides, Logan and Charlie, were very friendly and knowledgeable, they chatted with us lots and provided tons of great information about the local wildlife. The kayaks are pedal operated so we were mostly hands-free, which meant it was easy to use our binoculars and take photos. We got to see lots of fur seals, terns and shags. But the highlight of the tour was 10 minutes in we were joined by a pod of dusky dolphins!! They swam alongside the kayaks and were playing around us, doing big leaps out of the water. We could see them swimming below the surface too. A really incredible time, thank you!

I went kayaking for my 8th birthday. It was great! When the waves crashed over the rocks there was a big splash like a firework. We saw lots of seals (including one called Bruce) and even an albatross. The pedal kayaks were really easy to use and go fast with flippers like a penguin that go in the water to make you move. Awesome guides - thank you Bailey!
