We collect our guests at their accommodation free of charge, in Swakopmund and along the coast to Walvis bay. All other companies want you to use or find your own transport to Walvis bay. We include a light lunch and drinks.
We use new modern unsinkable Kayaks easy for anybody to use and that do not capsize. Everybody gets a life jacket and the guide will coach you on the use of the Kayak. No previous experience required.
Then we move on to the most memorable Dune Tour and your Namibia Highlight. We go where dune meets sea, harsh and desolate area constantly changing, yet quiet and relaxing, see amazing wild life, and thousand's of sea Birds in these harsh conditions. We go up towering Dunes, to the most beautiful view points, exciting dune drives with skilled and knowledgeable guides
See thousands of pink Flamingos, Pelicans in the Ramsar Walvis bay Wetland .The biggest evaporation pond Salt Mine in Africa with its pink salt waters is seen along the route.

please note all Cruise Liner passengers, your tour pick up time starts an hour after you have docked. The tour will depart latest an hour and a half after the pick up time. Late comers are considered a no show

What To Expect
We stop at the Flamingos and view the many beautiful birds at the Lagune.. We might see Pelicans and terns. The route takes us past the pink salt lakes of the huge Salt Mine and we learn how it works. We then turn north to Pelican point ;light house where the 50 000 seals colony is. We find a suitable spot to unload the Kayaks and then peddle into the Bay. The seals swim around the Kayaks, what an awesome experience. We serve some cool drinks and sandwiches once we are done .
Our journey takes us past the enormous Salt Mine harvesting 100000 tons per month, south along the beach to Sandwich Harbor where the Dune belt meets the sea . See the waves carve away the dunes at high tide where it sometimes becomes impossible to enter this beautiful and remote area. We go on a roller coaster dune ride up to the view point with absolute surprise to see the stunning views and the quiet desert ambiance. The huge sea of sand , the dunes, have that special kind of magic ...absolutely unique. Our knowledgeable guides will tell you about the desert area and skillfully drive you to the best spots. Adrenaline soaked dune drives , searching for animals in this desolate area , learn how the plants and animals have evolved to live in the desert. Absolutely Awesome , all of it. 5.00I had an incredible experience on the Seal Kayaking & Sandwich Harbour Tour with our guide Andrew. He is a very friendly man who made the trip really enjoyable and fun. Paddling alongside the seals and exploring the stunning landscapes of Sandwich Harbour was unique experience that overpassed all my expectations. Andrew’s knowledge of the area and his attention to detail really enhanced the adventure, he wanted us to see some whales and he made sure we did. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a unique outdoor experience!

5.00We started the day with the drive trough the sand dunes of Sandwich Harbour. You could tell that our guide was very skilled driving trough the loose sand. We had a really nice time! The guide Leclue did also tell a lot of interesting facts about the harbour. In the afternoon we finished our day kayaking inbetween the seals at pelican point. What a wonderfull experience! Thanks to our guide Leclue!

Oliver from Desert, Dunes & Dust Tours had stopped immediately and pulled the car out of the sand. After that we joined his group. He offered us a beautiful tour. From the moment we met him, we felt an instant connection — he’s friendly, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about what he does. Throughout the day, LeClue shared fascinating insights about Namibia, its wildlife, and the beautiful places we visited. The kayaking was such a fun and memorable experience, and the drive through the dunes at Sandwich Harbour was both thrilling and breathtaking. To top it all off, the breakfast and lunch were delicious and beautifully set up. LeClue went above and beyond to make this one of the best days of our vacation. We can’t recommend him and this tour highly enough — if you’re visiting Namibia, don’t miss it!

5.00My wife and I did the Seal Kayaking & Sandwich Harbour 4x4 tour and it was absolutely unreal! The landscapes and wildlife were so unique and it was really crazy getting up close and personal with everything (especially the seals!). The views from the dunes were breathtaking and we were lucky enough to be taken for a spin in the new 4x4. Our tour guide, Leclue, had endless knowledge about Namibia and we honestly learnt so much this day. He also was a highly skilled dune driver, making the experience exhilarating and has a few bad jokes up his sleeve too. Great guy! One thing I would say is that my wife had a few dietary requirements and the main office failed to pack anything she could eat, but hopefully this feedback is received and that won’t happen again in the future. All in all, it was an amazing experience and would 100% recommend.

5.00Great tour with only 8 people in total. Le Clue was an excellent driver and guide. Pickup was exactly on time as given on getyourguide. Any backpacks and belongings can be stored safely in the car during the kayaking.
