It's an ideal activity for non-swimmers wanting to experience the reef underwater as you walk on the island's seafloor surrounded by colourful tropical fish & coral at a specially selected site, minutes offshore. It’s safe and fully supervised by professional underwater guides. Your head and hair stay dry and you can even wear glasses!
Completing your day, the Green Island Eco Adventure includes the choice of a glass bottom boat tour or use of snorkelling equipment. After you've worked up an appetite, the day visitor facilities feature a pool bar, restaurant and refreshments for a range of affordable meal and snack options.

The minimum age for Seawalker is 12 years. Certain medical conditions and medications may preclude some people from participating.
All participants are required to complete a medical questionnaire.
After a single helmet dive, a wait of 12 hours is recommended before ascending to an altitude of 300 metres or greater.
Due to safety procedures you will be unable to take a camera underwater with you however a professional photographer will take your photos and these will be available to purchase

2.00We booked this through Viator and, without a doubt, this was THE worst experience with Viator, ever!! When I initially booked it, I requested information about whether there would be a problem with my completing this activity, because of my medications. I received no response from the vendor, Quick Silver in Cairns Australia. Trying to find the location of the vendor was a challenge because the name Quicksilver did not appear in any of the Marquee displays, at their headquarters. Instead, it was Silver Swift. It was not until we were on the boat to Green Island that we found out that I would not be allowed to participate in the seabed walk because of a medication I am taking. If we had known this ahead of time, we would have opted for a different tour. Shame on you, Viator, for not protecting your clients. The tour itself was 20 minutes walking in circles beneath the boat. We have been purchasing Viator tours for over a decade. After much effort we received a refund for a portion of the tour.

2.00This is THE most duplicitous Viator tour ever! In March I contacted the vendor to determine if any of the medications I take would prevent me from participating. They sent me a form which I completed and returned, but heard nothing. No news is good news? Au contraire! The day of the tour we arrived at Quicksilver on Spence St (that was a complete mess -- no where did it say Quicksilver in the entire facility -- you had to intuit it was there!) Received our tickets then sat outside (on a low wall) for 45 minutes. On the boat we were given the same form I had previously filled out, only to be told that I was ineligible because of one medication. My husband was eligible, but if we had known ahead of time, we would have done something else. No transparency. The actual seabed walk was a joke. 15-20 minutes of walking in a circle under the boat. This is an absolute scam. To add insult to injury, getting Viator to provide a refund for half of the expense is excruciatingly difficult. We have used Viator for about 10 years, but that may be coming to a close soon!

5.00We did the underwater Seawalker and glass bottom boat tour. From beginning to end, everything about the tour and the experiences was very well organized from check in/collecting tickets to arriving at the island and knowing what activities/options are available at what times. We didn’t feel rushed during or in between experiences despite picking 10:30 am departure to island and 2:30 pm departure from the island. It felt like a perfect amount of time for the booked experiences and to walk around the island a bit

4.00This was a great trip, something I had wanted to do for a while. As an older solo traveller (60yo), I wasn't comfortable snorkelling on my own so this was a great option. I was suprised at the weight that I needed to carry and I was pushed around at times by the current, but the crew were wonderful and great support with me being a little nervous. A great experience but I think you see more when snorkelling freely. The glass bottom boat was also enjoyable and lots of fish to see and I was lucky enough to see 3 turtles on the day.

5.00I was very nervous and apprehensive about doing the sea walk with helmet, staff were FANTASTIC!! Very reassuring, I felt 1000% safe in their hands. The experience itself is something I'll never forget!! Absolutely beautiful experience, I'd do it again and again!! Can't recommend this high enough!!!

4.00We initially booked this tour for a party of 5, however only 3 of us were able to participate. One due to a sinus infection and the other due to certain prescription medication usage. This was disappointing to us, as had we been made aware of any medication restrictions we may not have booked the tour at all. I recommend that any medication restrictions be clearly advertised in advance. For those of us who did participate in the sea walk, we found it ok, a little murky in the water, but mostly because we were so bummed other members of our party couldn't join. The concept is a cool one. Really put a damper on things.
