Our 1 hour Cowboy Trail ride, and the 1.5 hour Cowboy Trail ride hour are the rootinest, tootinest horseback rides in Sedona. You'll be riding through the hills and valleys of Dead Horse Ranch State Park in Cottonwood, just a hop, skip, and a jump away from Sedona. Our experienced wranglers will keep you safe while sharing the history of the land and surrounding area. You'll get to cross the river, take in the spectacular sightings of Tuzigoot Monument, and enjoy panoramic views of the Verde Valley. Chaz was our guide. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the various plants and trees along our ride. I felt safe and relaxed on my very first horse back experience.

It said to arrive 30 minutes early which would have been 11:30. The horse tour didn’t start till 1:00 the tour lady was rude I don’t think the money was worth it at all horrible.

Make sure you bring plenty of water. A camelpack is best. The guides do a great job educating about the local terrain and history.
