This hike will provide elevated views, canyon perspectives, incredible photo opportunities, and an abundance of interpretation about the sacredness of the surrounding region and it's ancient peoples. You will learn about edible & medicinal plants, desert survival skills, Sedona's unique history, geology, and so much more!! Our guides will provide binoculars for your group, to allow you to view hidden cliff dwellings, everyone else will miss high above the spectacularly layered canyons walls.

5.00Claude was fantastic! He picked is up in a very clean van at our Air b&b. He began by asking about what our expectations were for the trip. He customized our tour for us. We hiked Doe mountain and watched the sunset at Secret Slick Rock. Sunset and moon rise were spectacular. We were so surprised when we were provided sun shirts, back packs, water, trekking poles and top tier healthy snacks. Claude was knowledge, patient, caring, kind and friendly. He was a wonderful representation of the trail lovers organization. He made our trip a wonderful experience. If we could give 1000 stars we would. We love Claude! We will use this company when we return!!!

5.00We did a Dark Sky Hike and it was such an adventure. Our guide was knowledgeable about the plant life and the the wildlife in the area. We saw jack rabbit, bats, tarantula, scorpions and a frog! We also learned about the night sky and had time to take in the nighttime beauty. I highly recommend this hike.

The initial communication and organisation was excellent, the transportation spotless and the snacks and treats provided perfect for the occasion. The views were spectacular, the scenery and nature magnificent and to top it all I was lucky enough to have Jason as my guide. I can’t recommend him enough. 5.00We spent the most incredible day with Jason who created a private hiking tour for my husbands birthday. Connecting with Jason at the start of building our adventure was super easy – he was so helpful in making suggestions and was very responsive. We ended up selecting a full day tour with the intention to visit as many vortex sites as we could. A couple of days beforehand, the weather was looking a little rainy and Jason connected immediately to check whether we wanted to change dates or adjust the timing in anyway. We decided to go ahead and hope the rain wasn’t too heavy and even on the day, Jason said we could change in any way we wanted to and work around what happens with the weather. We both appreciated the flexibility but also that Jason was considering safety as well as preserving the beautiful Sedona landscape and not damaging it should it be too wet. Jason is so organised and prepared. He has rain ponchos, pocket warmers, hiking poles, you name it – anything that could make the hike easier was available. We also got our own small rucksack with water and snacks, and Jason also had a pack which contained a delicious lunch, fruit and warm tea. We were very well looked after! We did 4 separate hikes to 4 different vortex sites, driving between each, and Jason adjusted the hikes as we went based on our capability as well as what we wanted to do. Each was a little different and Jason is such a wonderful conversationist and shared not only very interesting facts about the area as we walked, but just general conversation about life. We also spent some time sat relaxing on a picnic blanket having lunch and admiring a beautiful 360 degree view with not another soul in sight. After an 8 hour adventure, we felt so energised and yet completely relaxed, and as though we’d managed to get a glimpse of the real magic of Sedona. And we have Jason to thank for that. An absolutely wonderful life experience which we will never forget.
