The coastline of the Akamas is one of the most beautiful in Cyprus. When you rent a boat you will have many different bays to explore and sights to see along the way. Some of the highlights are described below, although there are also many more bays which are not listed here. St Georges Island This island is located around 800 meters offshore from St George’s Reef. On the surface the barren volcanic outcrop is home to multiple species of seabirds, while below the surface the island is home to a vast array of marine life including tuna, groupers, trumpet fish and octopus. Secret Beach Swim through the cave or around the rocks to this hidden sandy beach, but it’s a secret so don’t tell anyone! Amphitheatre. Manolis Bay Manolis was a fisherman, to be more precise a dynamite fisherman. According to local legend this is where he gave up fishing permanently... As you enter this bay you will notice that the water has taken on a beautiful blue colour, this is due to the fine white sand on the seabed. As you progress into the bay you will see the caves and jumbled rocks that make this bay so interesting, when snorkeling look out for the large family of trumpet fish that have made this bay their home and observe the way they change colour relative to their environment. The Blue Lagoon The most popular bay in the whole of Cyprus, as soon as you arrive you will be dazzled by the beautiful white sandy bottom and crystal clear turquoise water. The stunning chamili islet provides an impressive habitat for many types of marine life and excellent snorkeling. This bay is a definite must! Fontana Amorosa There are still four visible cutouts in the rocks for docking boats and its location provides shelter from the prevailing wind, a perfect place to stop for awhile. Look underwater and as you might expect from a harbour you will find some rubbish, but ancient rubbish in the form of amphora. Some are said to be offerings to the gods, whereas others are clearly from shipwrecks. Most of these have now fused into the rocks and have become homes to various types of marine life. Arnaoutis Beach Situated at Cyprus’s western most point, this golden sandy beach is an ideal spot for a picnic and its seclusion makes it an ideal place to get away from it all. From here you will see the offshore reef which is 8km from Latchi harbour and a turnaround point for your trip along the coast.

Super nice team and a clear instructions at the beginning. Would recommend this to all who want to explore more of the coastline than doing a big boat trip to blue lagoon.

We have been warmly welcomed. The formalities are done very quickly. If this is too fast, ask. The employee goes to great lengths to explain the driving area including possible anchorages. However, you get a paper card with the described details. A laminated card that you either label with Edding or that already contains the information would have survived the first half of our trip. After that, the instruction is given to the boat. The boat was simple, functional with strong signs of wear. The briefing is very good. If something doesn't work, the boat will be replaced. That's what happened to us. A lot of emphasis is placed on the condition of the drive screw, this is documented. Then we take the boat out of the harbour. To the drop-off point. I had asked about the weather conditions before but was supplied with the statement "Yes, there is more wind there, but then there and there is less." The wind load was so strong that after a few minutes we were soaked. The swell was too strong for the small boat. We were several times in the first hour shortly before the trip was stopped. After about 90 minutes the weather improved and we were able to drive under land to the blue lagoon. You can save yourself driving in there. Large excursion ships and small yachts clog the bay. We drove a little further and anchored there. It was a bit more relaxed but not the same. Overall, I would not necessarily recommend the driving area.

We rented a boat for 4 hours while on holiday as we did 12 months ago. When abroad, it’s always difficult knowing who to trust with things like this, especially as you pay for the fuel you use at the end. Well do not worry if using this company. We used a boat for 4 hours, travelled the maximum distance we could and at times went as fast as we could, so was pleasantly surprised when the fuel bill was 26 Euros, actually cheaper than last time! On arrival we were warmly greeted at the reception desk before having a briefing with Jordan who was great. Then Amelia showed us around the boat and refreshed our memories on how to use it. She was also amazing at manoeuvring the boat out of the harbour, as I’ll never know how she managed to get it out of the very tight space it was in. Nice skills Amelia! Overall, it was a fabulous experience and to give you an idea of cost, we paid less than £155 (English Pounds after checking credit card) which is less than £20 an hour each for such an amazing time, including fuel. Thank you again for such brilliant service, plus value and we shall see you again next year.

Probably the prettiest coast in Cyprus. You have to go early to avoid the big tourist boats. It is the perfect way to discover this place and snorkel in peace. We took 4 hours which is enough. The girl (French-English) who gave us the instructions was adorable and good advice. I recommend. Very professional!
