The 11-mile loop drive around Cades Cove is the culmination of all the fantastic things about the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and one of the Park's must-do areas. This fertile valley is surrounded by beautiful Smoky peaks, and its idyllic setting and conditions attracted the earliest of European settlers to the region - a place where the Cherokee enjoyed fruitful hunting and foraging. As you tour the loop, we have the opportunity to visit historic cabins, churches, mills and barns. Always keep an eye out for black bears, deer and wild turkeys, which are frequently seen.

The software would not download. Very awkward to pay, download the app and then download the tour. Back and forth between website and email. So did not use it, threw money away.

First time using a GuideAlong audio tour...and my husband and I loved it! We used all or parts of it on each of five days in the Smoky Mountains NP. It informed several of our stops, hikes, a picnic, drives, and it led us to parts of the NP we had not experienced on previous trips. I found it simple to download prior to our trip; and, appreciated the ease of use when we had no Wi-Fi connection in the park. I will not hesitate to try other audio tour guides for future travels.

Me and a few friends came up to Tennessee and decided to do this tour through the mountains. We loved it! Very informative! We stopped at a few roadside trails that he suggested and were not disappointed. Will definitely use this tour guide again!

This audio tour was a huge hit with our family during our 2 days in Smoky Mountain National Park. The commentary was pleasant, interesting, and engaging and really enhanced our experience. The tech worked really well even though the wifi is spotty across the park. The narrator was enthusiastic without being corny, informative without being tedious. It was great. Highly recommend.

We couldn't get into it to use it. I paid $20.00 for a tour I did not use when for 1.25 I got a book and read through it on the tour. WASTE OF MONEY

The stories were great. Make sure you stop at the visitor center first so you can park when they suggest a trail to explore. On the day we did the tour, the wether at the top was very rainyand cloudy, we were lucky that by chance when we continued our trip the next day GPS took us along the same road so we were able to see what we missed and knew what we were looking at.

We enjoyed the Self-Guided Audio Driving Tour in Great Smoky Mountains. The audio guide was informative and entertaining. We did the Cade's Cove Loop today, and the drive through the mountains was beautiful. It was a nice, relaxing way to spend a few hours. The admission fee is very reasonable for your own personal audio guide. The fact that it uses GPS to determine your location and synchronizes the audio to your location makes it completely effortless.
