Wear a Hanbok Experience – Dress to Impress During our Seoul Full Day Traditional & Cultural Experience (wearing Hanbok) in Seoul, you will have the chance to fully dive into the authentic environment by wearing a Hanbok. A Hanbok is a form of traditional Korean dress available for both men and women that dates back to the Joseon Dynasty. The attire is semi-formal and is usually worn during celebrations and festivals. What makes Habnok really beautiful is its vibrant colors such as blue, purple, red, and gold. There are no pockets which make the dress simple and elegant. On our trip, the ladies will have the chance to wear a queen’s hair style as well which is a special wig that used to be worn centuries ago. Make sure to have a camera handy to snap some fantastic holiday photos you can share with your friends and family!
Changdeokgung Palace
Changdeok Palace – Discover the Joseon Dynasty’s Favorite Palace Our tour begins at one of the Five Grand Palaces, Changdeok, which was, in fact, the Joseon kings’ favorite. The palace is effortlessly nestled within a natural park, surrounded by a tranquil lake and beautiful trees. Allow yourself to take a photo for a quick moment. You will enter Changdeok Palace through the Donhwamun Gate which was burned down in 1592 and beautifully restored in 1608. Then, you will see Geumcheongyo Bridge which is the oldest in all of Seoul! Next ahead of you will be Injeongjeon Hall which is where the most important state banquets and events were held. Make sure to pay special attention to Huijeongdang Hall – the royal bedchamber. This room burned down in a fire and was rebuilt, featuring wooden floorboards and carpets, glass windows, and chandeliers that make it stylistically different from any other room in the palace.

Thorough and interesting visits to Seoul highlights. Historical sites are highlighted and the tower visit provides an exceptional scenic view of this very large city. Despite the global importance of ginseng I would have preferred to spend no time at the Ginseng Centre in favour of more time at other non-commercial sites. Alice demonstrated broad knowledge of the sites visited as well as Korean culture and thus provided an excellent window on the city and its people. She was very pleasant and patient with our group throughout the tour.

Diane was absolutely amazing. There were a few people with us who disappeared and had issues during the excursion, and she was absolutely fantastic woth navigating the changes. Other than GinWorldArt (she didn't run that tour) it was fantastic.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five-Star Review for Jenny – VIP Travel Korea Jenny was absolutely amazing! From the moment our tour started, she made us feel welcomed, comfortable, and excited to explore. Her knowledge of Korea’s history, culture, and local spots was impressive, and she explained everything in a way that was fun and easy to understand. She went above and beyond to make sure my wife and I had a great experience — helping us navigate places smoothly, recommending fantastic food spots, and making sure we saw the best highlights without feeling rushed. Her energy, professionalism, and warm personality made the whole tour feel personal and special. If you’re booking with VIP Travel, ask for Jenny. She truly made our Korea trip unforgettable. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing experience with Lina as our tour guide in Korea! She was very patient, extremely knowledgeable, and made every part of the tour both fun and insightful. Lina was also friendly and approachable, which made it easy to ask questions and really enjoy the day. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. She took lots of pictures of us and even covered additional cost of my hanbok accessories as a birthday gift! Highly recommend to book this tour to see Changdeok Palace, Bukchon Village, and the Ginseng Museum while wearing a traditional hanbok. Additional, she took us to Insadong and made great suggestions for lunch and snack at Gwangjang market.
