Pick up was late by 10 minutes from my meeting point near my hotel but it was probably traffic which was very busy. Then we went to Imjingak Park, located 7 kilometres from the Military Demarcation Line which was interesting and okay for some breakfast and loo stop. Then on to the DMZ which was good. Then we went down the 3rd tunnel which is around 800 metres down at 11 degrees and then levels off for another 180 metres but here the ceiling is low. Probably 1.7 metres. We had safety hats on and although walking the 180 m stooped over I hit my helmet about 15 times and I am only 176 cm in height. Then you have the return journey back to the starting point which is strenuous. Then it is off to the suspension bridge and AGAIN there is about 400 steps from the road to the top of the hill where the bridge starts. By the time we retuned to Seoul I had done 22,700 steps on my watch and most of that was up and down with maybe 10% on flat ground. Then to cap it off they did not return me to my pick up point but to the Station which was 2 klms away. I was too tired so had to get a taxi back to my hotel. It was a good trip and the guide was excellent but the strenuous effort needed and not advising that they did not return you to your pick up point, it loses 1 star.

Winnie is very professional, friendly, informative during the entire DMZ tour. She help us take individual pictures and group pictures. We get to experience the food by the border of DMZ, the soy bean ice cream is authentic. The suspension bridge is with great view. The 3rd tunnel is deep experience. You get to learn a lot of history of Korean culture and the Korean War.

Mama Winnie was incredibly informative about all the things we were going to see and made sure we made the most of each stop. Really helpful to understand each place's significance.
