Book this history tour with Eric! I’ve visited many countries, had great experiences with all my walking tours, but can honestly say this tour with Eric was exceptional. From the start to the end the information gained has helped me have a greater understanding of the history and culture of Seoul South Korea and Korean Peninsula. As the tour progressed I began to feel immersed an able to understand what was being said, not always the case with all of my History Tours in the past. I felt very comfortable chatting with Eric as the tour unfolded. I very much appreciated being able to as for greater clarity on some of the issues. If you’re reading this review don’t hesitate book it, you won’t be disappointed. Thanks Eric usually the next day I’ve forgotten some of the dates that are given on tours. But seem to have remembered most that you gave me.

Well versed in Korean history and culture with a passion. Was patient given my mistake in arriving at Bosingak Bell (Museum) instead of Bosingak Bell Pavilion!

Great for a first day in Korea. I did this tour at the end of my trip, but I wish I did it on day one. Eric presented an interesting overview of Korean history and even found vegetarian restaurants near my hotel.

Eric is a knowledgeable guide who shares his excellent knowledge of Korean history, as well as being happy to answer questions about all things Korean. Our tour lasted nearly four hours and Eric was generous in giving us local recommendations including places to eat. Even walking with us to a hidden gem of a restaurant we wouldn’t have otherwise tried and writing in Korean some recommended dishes for us to try. Highly recommend this tour.

Yesterday Eric led us on an excellent walking tour of old Seoul. He is very knowledgeable and taught us so much about the history and culture of Korea. We learned such a lot, too, about contemporary life in Korea, and he even provided local delicacies for a snack at our half way break. Eric was very generous with his time - at the end of our tour he even led us to a local restaurant and wrote out suggestions for our meal. Highly recommend this walking tour.

I do walking tours in every city that I visit, and Eric's tour is one of the best I have done. He told many interesting stories about Korea's past and used landmarks to bring history to life. It was a very hot day, but he made sure we walked in the shade where possible. He also gave great recommendations for where to eat after the tour and what to see in Korea.
