What To Expect
Gyeongbokgung Palace
[Gwanghwamun square -> Gyeongbokgung palace] Royal Guard Changing Ceremony: Watch the colorful and disciplined reenactment of the Joseon Dynasty’s guard duty at Gwanghwamun Gate. Architectural Storytelling: Discover the hidden symbols behind the Geunjeongjeon Hall and the peaceful Gyeonghoeru Pavilion. Photo Spot: Get your "Best Photo of the Day" with the grand palace and mountains in the background. Entrance fee KRW3,000 (USD2) to be paid on site. (Not available on Tuesdays - alternate palace visit can be arranged)
Bukchon Hanok Village
Walking through History: Stroll through the narrow, winding alleys lined with hundreds of traditional Korean houses (Hanoks). Authentic Local Life: See how people still live in these beautiful heritage homes today. Hidden Viewpoints: I will take you to my secret spots where you can see the stunning contrast between the old Hanoks and the modern Seoul skyline.

Walk from Grand palace to the : charming traditional houses. A balanced journey of history and local life. Duration: 3 hours Royal palace to Bukchon: - Royal palace: Gyeongbokgung or Changdeokgung or Changgyeonggung - Bukchon village - Semi Flexible route - Local culinary culture: At the end of the tour, your guide will recommend local restaurants for you to enjoy on your own after the tour.
2H Gwanghwamun + Gyeongbokgung
The Perfect introduction to: Seoul's royal history for those with a tight schedule. Duration: 2 hours - From Gwanghwamun : to Gyeongbokgung Palace and a possible path to Bukchon village (Small group) Small group tour: At the end of the tour, your guide will recommend local restaurants for you to enjoy on your own after the tour.
4H UNESCO world heritage
Changdeokgung & Jongmyo: and a possible walk to Jongmyo shrine another UNESCO heritage site relating to Joseon dynasty. Upgrade your experience with: a journey beyond Seoul to a UNESCO World Heritage fortress. Duration: 6 hours: The tour duration may vary depending on traffic and unforeseen circumstances. 5.00The trip was fun and really full of interesting information. She was full of energy and passion and clearly enjoyed talking and explaining Korea's culture to us. The itinerary for the tour was well established and easy to follow. Amazing view on the hill at the small town. The palace was pretty impressive as well and beautiful.

5.00This tour by Stella /Sheri was very informative and thorough. Her love for sharing interesting anecdotes and favourite sites was very evident. She arranged so we managed to see the changing of the guards while she purchased the tickets so we were not wasting time in queues. She provided rich historical perspective and her own experience of growing up in South Korea. She showed the best spots to photo and away from the usual Tourist trail. She was also very helpful in sharing details on where to shop / where to eat and how to make the best use of time while in Korea. A very genuine guide and we were so glad we had booked our tour with her.

5.00What a wonderful tour! Stella was a fantastic guide, so knowledgeable and lovely. If you tried to do the palace alone, you would miss so much... but doing the tour with Stella you get an excellent insight into the whole area and end up finding out that chimneys can be interesting! I would 100% recommend this tour! Thanks for a wonderful day Stella!

5.00This walking tour in Seoul was honestly one of the best things we did on the trip. Really easy pace but very informative, and walking around made it so much easier to take everything in. We visited the Gyeongbokgung palace and the folk museum, which ended up being more interesting than I expected with brilliant art installations. I loved how it walked us through Korean culture from birth to death, it gave so much context to everything we were seeing, and made it all feel connected rather than just random stops. A big part of what made it so good was the tour guide, Stella who explained things in a really clear, engaging way without it ever feeling heavy or boring. We even compared our favorite Korean dramas from the Joseon era and she recommended a few. Definitely recommend if you want something more meaningful than just walking around on your own.
