This hike starts from old agricultural estate high in the hills and descends into the rain forest. The hike takes about an hour each way on an often muddy trail. For much of the time you are going down a path cut into one side of a huge valley. You have the opportunity to see lots of bird life and, occasionally, monkeys.
At the bottom of the valley, meet the river and climb a short way up to our destination. Here two waterfalls cascade into perfect swimming pools. Fish and crayfish dart around in the river. It is a perfect place for a swim. You will feel wonderfully refreshed by the cool mountain water-- your hair will feel specially soft afterwards.

The tour starts when you’re picked up by your local guide in a comfortable and air-conditioned minivan. As we journey to the where the hike begins, in the island’s interior, you will traverse villages and get a chance to learn about the island’s rich history and culture. Before we hike, we make a stop at the Grand Etang Lake and rainforest, in Grenada's largest national park to take in the beautiful scenery. After this scenic stop, we take drive a short drive to an old agricultural estate where the fun begins. The hike takes about 1-hour each way, on an often muddy trail. For much of the time you are going down a path cut into one side of a huge valley. You will see lots of bird life and, occasionally, monkeys. See two waterfalls cascading into perfect swimming pools. Our tour guide was very patient as some of the people in our group were slower due to wet, slippery terrain that day. When we got to the waterfalls, he let us enjoy our time without any rush. My boyfriend and I were the only ones in the natural waterfall pools, so it was extra special! Once in a lifetime experience that I was happy to have booked through this company.

Brilliant tour. Royle was a great guide and took his time taking us to the key sites on the way to the waterfall with lots of local knowledge. The waterfalls were definitely worth the visit despite a slippery walk down. Swimming in the pools was magic. Saw a wild monkey on the way down. Good to see other parts of the island too. Definitely recommend.

It wasn't really any excursions that you can do as a solo traveler... But I found this and the price was reasonable. Tour guide Michael was knowledgeable and friendly.. Be somewhat in shape because The hike to the waterfall can be difficult for some. Other than that the waterfall is beautiful. Highly recommend!!!

I'm a solo female traveler and I only had one day for hiking at Grenada. Booked this tour, Michael was the best! We hiked for 2 and half hours. He was very friendly and very knowledgeable in local history and culture. Highly recommend! This was a medium level hike, shaded, very scenic!

An amazing day with our tour guide Rolley. We got a mix of a hike, a history lesson, and a swim all in one day. Rolley makes the best rum punch in Grenada and adds his own flair to the experience! The hike was difficult but rewarding, and we got to meet Ben the Mona Monkey and feed the koi fish Crix. I would recommend Rolley and this experience to everyone!

What a fantastic day! Rawl was amazing and so informative. He even brought us tamarind from his tree to try. He pointed out local flora and fauna and told us the history of the island. We hiked the waterfall which was beautiful and so fun to swim in the pools. I would rate the hike as average for experienced hikers, it’s also quite muddy when I rains - which it did, because we were in a rainforest…It made it all the more magical. We also went on another short jaunt to honeymoon falls I think- a little more difficult to traverse but absolutely beautiful. During the hike Rawl made us a traditional mixing stick from a tree found along the way. All his knowledge was so wonderful. We also stopped at the Fort at the top of the mountain, spectacular views! Highly recommend this tour and would take it again.

This was a perfect little hike for those on a short trip who want to see something of Grenada's interior. The falls are sweet and pretty. Michael is a prince. Knowledgeable, personable, responsible and a damn good driver. Thanks for everything!
