What To Expect
Zhujiajiao Ancient Town

First, take a drive for about 1-hour to arrive at Zhujiajiao Water Town, an ancient water town known for its besetting in lakes and mountains. The unique old bridges, well-structured courtyards and calm rivers, all make the town a land of antiquity and leisure. Endowed with another elegant, the Pearl Stream, Zhujiajiao is the best-preserved among the four ancient towns in Shanghai.
Jade Buddha Temple
Lunch will be on your own to taste the local cuisine. In the afternoon, transfer to visit the Jade Buddha Temple, one of the most famous Buddhist shrines in the city. The two precious jade Buddhist statues are not only rare cultural relics but also porcelain artworks. Both the Sitting Buddha and the Recumbent Buddha are carved with whole white jade.
