We had the most amazing day trip with our Chinese Tour Guide, Jordan. He met us early in the day and helped us onto the Fast Train to Linhai. He took us sightseeing and to lunch in Linhai. Then we climbed the steps up to the Great Southern Wall of China. It is very beautiful and picturesque. Cherry/Plum blossom trees lining the wall. Beautiful views from the wall to the valley and river below. Jordon was very knowledgeable, great fun. He had great English speaking skills. And looked after us very well all through the day and back to Shanghai. We highly recommend Jordan and his Tour company to other travellers. Jordan is a 5 Star Tour Guide. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wow! What a day! Emma is the MOST AMAZING guide. Ahead of our trip, she kept us up to date with all the details of our day even down to advice of what to wear. We didn’t have to think about a single thing. Everything was arranged for us…even collection to and from our hotel in a beautiful car. The wall was fantastic. We arrived when it was nice and quiet so was able to enjoy it at our own pace. Emma was very knowledgeable- sharing with us all the history of the wall and answering all of our questions. Next she took us for the most amazing lunch. Food was delicious. Finally we finished with a walk around the lake. Our day started at 7am and we were back in our hotel by 8pm. It was truly an amazing trip which I would highly recommend. If you get Emma as your tour guide, even better!! A magical day!

What can I say, from the moment the driver collected us from the hotel everything run smoothly. Our host Emma catered for our needs in advance to our trip and everything ran like clockwork. Emma did not only communicate to us with the history of the trip she made us feel apart from the off. A great day of learning from a great host. Would recommend to all.

My husband and I and our seven year old daughter are visiting Shanghai for the first time. We only have a short week to fit in as much adventure as possible- including visiting the Great Wall- so we signed up for a private tour to the East Lake and Southern Great Wall. We had a great time with Jordan as our tour guide! Communication was great. Jordan messaged us prior to the tour with time and information about the tour. He let us know when the driver will pick us up from the hotel and that he will be meeting us at the high speed rail station. Jordon is really thoughtful and even gave us updates about the weather so that we can prepare for potential rain and hot weather during the day of the trip. I loved just showing up and not having to worry about figuring out the logistics. This tour gave us wonderful memories on this trip as we got to experience exploring new places stress free.

Emma was a great guide. The trip was well planned, informative and enjoyable. The included lunch was also delicious, great choice of restaurant by Emma. We were able to tell Emma what we wanted to do more of, or less of depending on our fitness levels and likes.

This was an all-around great experience! My wife and I were picked at our hotel by Summer, our tour guide, and driven to the railroad station, where we boarded a 200 mph bullet train for the 3 hour ride to Zhejiang Provence. The ride itself was pretty remarkable, zooming through the Chinese countryside. Upon arrival at Lin Hai, we were driven to the ancient city within the wall. The first thing to note is that this is a private tour; just my wife and me and the guide. We couldn't have asked for a more personal experience. Summer introduced us to her friend Rosalie, who grew up in the neighborhood we were touring, together they led us through the narrow streets full of vendors selling different foods and candies native to the area. After a marvelous lunch at a truly authentic eatery, we began our walk along the top of the wall. Fair warning: there are a lot of steps to climb. We spent our time walking along the wall, which, we were told, was ultimately the prototype for the better-known Great Wall in the north of China. Fortunately, the weather was cool and the forecasted rain held off until the very end of the trip, so we enjoyed the scenery as we worked our way around the ancient city and explored the watchtowers along the way. As I said, there were lots of stairs and a fairly long walk atop the wall, so this tour is best for those tourists with good mobility. We came down from the wall and took a short drive to a lake and garden. Again, lots of beautiful scenery and Summer explained that this area was inspirational to a group of 10th century poets. After we strolled around for a while, and rain started to fall, it was time to drive back to the railroad station and the bullet train back to Shanghai. Probably the most memorable thing that happened to us on this tour was something that happened just by chance. As we were walking through the narrow streets of the ancient city, we came into a square where, as it happened, a large group of uniformed school children (11 or 12 years old) were on a field trip. These rural kids were all wanting to try out their English on us, take pictures with us, asked where we came from, etc. I felt like a rock star in a mob of fans. All in all, this tour could not have been better organized. I was in contact with the tour guide for the very beginning, and she was very helpful with making sure that we had everything we needed to make the trip a success. Note: you will need to bring you passports along to get on and off the bullet train. I cannot say enough about our guide Summer. Our experience was just plain excellent!
