• Wonderful day trip from Shanghai to Linhai!

  Summer, our guide was so friendly, warm and knowledgeable. She handled every detail of our day trip perfectly! This was a great day trip from the bustling city of Shanghai to the more laid back, quiet beautiful city of Linhai. The city has its own Great Wall and is set in a picturesque landscape of mountains and a large river. There is also a beautiful lake with so much to see. We traveled by bullet train there and back (2 hours and 3 hours), which was comfortable and enjoyable. We had a local Chinese lunch of crab noodles and pork meatballs which were both delicious. We saw a local theater show which was in a small group and quite entertaining. Then we walked the streets of the old town which is rich in history, architecture and culture with lots of great shops to buy souvenirs and try local food and drinks. If you have a full day to explore another city other than Shanghai, we highly recommend this well planned day trip to Linhai.

  I would highly recommend this tour as the sights are amazing. My tour guide, Jenny, was the best and super friendly. She ensured I knew what was happening from start to finish and was very knowledgeable along the way 😁. Lake, Southern Great Wall are both stunning and I loved the show at the end. Fab day out made all the better by best guide

  This was an excellent well organised tour throughout. Summer our guide was very friendly and full of interesting information. She also coped very well with the challenge presented by my limited mobility, i use a 4-wheeled walking aid. The pace was adjusted to meet my needs and we were able to complete the full tour. My daughter and I really enjoyed the whole experience including a tasty lunch. We recommend this trip.

  Absolutely incredible! I can’t say enough great things about Jenny, our guide. She communicated the itinerary and made sure we were prepared for our adventure the night before by telling us what to bring, wear for the temperature etc…. She was prompt and met us at our hotel exactly when she said she would. She arranged all of our transportation with ease and even walked us to our seats on the bullet train! She was very knowledgeable and shared relevant historical information. We enjoyed her conversation and company. She looked out for us, kept us on time and helped us purchase items on Ziyang Old Street. We would tour with her anywhere, any day! 10/10 would recommend!

  This was my first visit to China. I wanted to experience some historical and cultural aspects of China. This was the perfect tour for the same. My tour guide Jenny was punctual and very knowledgeable. She told a lot of historical facts about the dynasty and also the architectural design details. All arrangements were top notch. The ride through bullet train travelling at 300+ kmph was amazing - this also gives tech experience of modern China. The tour was very comfortably paced, although requires some climbing of stairs. I highly recommend the tour and specially Jenny as a tour guide.
