A wonderful journey discovering the history of Egypt among the tombs and temples that hold millennia of history. Thanks to our guide, who conveys great passion and knowledge, we were able to admire and learn many details. The day started with an exhilarating hot air balloon ride followed by breakfast with typical food in a very picturesque location overlooking the Nile. The price was excellent for the entire tour, which included lunch and transfers from Hurghada. The drivers were also very punctual and kind! I highly recommend this tour!!!!

Everything was perfect and magical; the only downside would be that they do not provide water during the execution. Otherwise, the hot air balloon flight was enchanting, and the passionate and engaging French-speaking guide. Thank you for this moment.

Overall Experience - 9.5/10. The communication from the tour company was excellent. They asked for the necessary details well in advance, replied to messages very quickly and provided updates constantly. On the actual day, the drivers picked us up within the provided time frame. They were very kind and respectful, asking us where we’re from and how we were finding Egypt. They didn’t drive at crazy speeds and didn’t brake too harshly. One of the drivers even bought the whole minivan a water and juice each! The only ‘negative’ was that they kept turning the AC down when they felt like it, not knowing that their passengers were boiling in the back! 😂 The hot air ballon ride was amazing… Went straight from the minivan into the ballon, no waiting around whatsoever. Our pilot was witty, informative and friendly, showing us what we were looking at below and providing a bit of insight while being funny. We were in the sky for about 30 mins and had a very smooth landing. Next was the actual tour of everything. We had previously been to Cairo so had expected a similar experience but we were wrong. It was so much better than expected! All thanks to our AMAZING tour guide, Samira. She truly made the whole day for us, we can’t sing her praises enough. She was funny, informative, kind, just the model tour guide. She provided facts on EVERYTHING, answered every single one of our questions in depth, made many jokes, everything you could want in a tour guide, she was that and more. Lastly the restaurants we went to. We had breakfast and lunch in two different local restaurants, can’t say the food was amazing. Just similar to what you’d have in a hotel.

This private tour was the best trip I have ever been on. Our tour guide Samira was not only very knowledgeable but very friendly and put us at ease. She was a great asset to the trip. The valley of the kings as you can imagine were unbelievable and the scenery was breathtaking. It was great getting all the little local stories from samira, it made it more personal. The boat trip on the Nile was a welcome break after all the walking around. Samira took us to a lovely little Egyptian restaurant for lunch which was very tasty. Our driver Mohammed was great too and his car very luxurious. If you can go on this tour book it. You will not regret it. Samia and Mohammed became like friends towards the end and we had a very special time.

We had an absolutely incredible full-day tour to Luxor from Hurghada. From the very early morning collection to the end of the trip, everything was organised brilliantly and we felt very well looked after throughout. Professor Ahmed Elsisi was exceptionally knowledgeable, professional and passionate about Egyptian history, making every stop fascinating and engaging. Our driver, Mohammad Nassar, was also excellent — attentive, friendly and made the long journey very comfortable and smooth. Lunch, snacks and drinks throughout the day were all very much appreciated and added to the experience. We also loved the extra additions to the tour, including learning about traditional papyrus paper making, visiting an authentic local artists’ house, and taking a beautiful boat trip on the Nile. It was a very early start, but completely worth it. A truly unforgettable experience and one we would highly recommend to anyone visiting Egypt.

I couldn’t recommend this experience enough to anyone travelling to Egypt. Ahmed was a fantastic guide — knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about every site we visited. As it was our last day in Egypt, he was more than happy to go at our pace, and because it was just me and my partner, the whole tour felt personal and relaxed. It really was a brilliant day. The only small area for improvement lies with the organisation before meeting our guide. A clear, step‑by‑step itinerary from the tour company would make a huge difference. Something like: - You will be picked up by a driver in a car - You will be driven directly to Luxor on your own - You will meet X person at X restaurant - You will wait approximately X minutes - You will then meet X person and join a minibus with a new group for the balloon site - After the balloon trip, you will transfer to another minibus that will take you to your guide Having this information upfront would give travellers peace of mind, especially when things feel hectic, you’re unsure who you’re meant to be with, and there may be a slight language barrier. It would simply make the morning run more smoothly. That said, none of this takes away from how excellent Ahmed was. Once the balloon trip was finished and we met him, we could finally relax and enjoy the day fully. One thing we both loved was how he asked us questions throughout his explanations — it made us feel involved and engaged rather than just listening passively. If you choose this tour, you genuinely won’t be disappointed.

Our first time in Egypt and wanted to see and learn more about the valley of the Kings and Egyptian History. Professor Ahmed Elsisi was very knowledgeable and has worked with the British and American teams exploring the Valley of the Kings. He gave us helpful insights on the Ancient Egyptian view of life and death and mummification. Ahmed used his experience to try and avoid the crowds as well as give us a great tour. Fascinating to learn how Egyptian craftsman work with alabaster. After a traditional lunch a boat ride on the Nile was a great experience. Mr Abanob safely drove us to and from Luxor with great skill - Egyptian driving is not the same as driving in the UK! Thanks to you both for a wonderful day.

Excellent experience - the hot air balloon was fantastic (so well organised and much easier than I expected with my fear of heights!). Special mention to our fabulous and funny guide Professor Ahmed Elsisi who not only informed but also entertained us across the valley of the kings. Brilliant!
