This is the only shark tour in the USA and to our knowledge the only tour where guests do not get in the water to view the sharks. Delight in close-up views of sharks and a variety of other marine life. In this eco-friendly catamaran, travel through shallow waters to a location a few miles from shore, observing dolphins, stingrays, barracudas and native birds along the way. Bait is used to attract lemon, nurse and other types of sharks to the side of the boat. What To Expect

Key West Extreme Adventures Shark Tours

After check-in, the Tiger Cat will cruise through Key West harbor on the way to the Key West National Wildlife Refuge. Here guests will see numerous sharks and a variety of wildlife including dolphin.

Travel through shallow water close to mangrove islands as you make your way about 4 miles (6.4 km) away from shore to the shark viewing site. Along the way, keep your eyes open for dolphin, sea turtles, stingrays, barracudas, tarpon and an array of native birds. Listen to your experienced pilot discuss the delicate ecosystem of this area and its abundance of wildlife. Enjoy complimentary water, soda, juice — as well as the use of polarized sunglasses — during your trip. When you arrive at the shark destination, get ready for an unforgettable experience! Your pilot will use bait to draw a host of sharks that swim right up to the boat so you and your family can observe them in safety and comfort. See numerous lemon and nurse sharks, and watch out for bull, black tip and hammerhead sharks during nearly one hour of shark viewing. Capture dramatic photos you can't wait to share with family and friends.

Second time on this Shark Adventure, and definitely worth it. The most unique experience you can have in Key West, in fact anywhere Boat is great, crew are super, and 2 hours is the perfect amount of time, even got to see dolphins. Boat is not crowded, they limit the number of passengers. Best of all, you get to see real sharks up close. Don't miss this experience.

We had a great experience! We saw sharks and dolphins, and it was a perfect day out on the boat. The captain and his assistant were friendly and knowledgeable, and they made sure everyone got to see the sharks—especially the kids, who all got a front-row view.

We had a great time on the trip! The crew was very friendly and informative and the sharks did not disappoint. We also had the chance to view some bottlenose dolphins as part of the trip. Overall, we really enjoyed the experience and would recommend the experience! The crew also provided GoPro videos of the shark feeding, which was a great bonus.

Our experience was very nice!! My husband and I went together, we were very unfamiliar with the area. The staff was very kind when we called, and gave good directions. They were patient with us, as we were tourists. On the boat, the two gentlemen were very informative of the area and all of its animals. On the tour, you mainly see a lemon shark. That’s what we saw. The tour guide said you may occasionally see other types of sharks, but it is not a common occurrence for this area. As for the shark feeding, it was very interesting. There were about 10 sharks that came to feed. The feeder let the children on the boat throw some bait as well. One of the crew members took a video with an go pro. He used a chip send it to all of the passengers who wanted it. We have some very cool videos! All in all, we definitely recommend!

They're taking their time. The fish they use to lure the sharks is really fresh and doesn't smell. We could all see it clearly. That was also asked several times.

Wow! This was totally worth the time and money! Matt and Tanner were awesome! We saw dolphins and sharks! Matt took a go pro and videoed the shark feeding. The. He shared the footage with everyone on the tour! I can't say enough about this experience!

We can highly recommend the tour if you are interested in sharks. The captain and his crew were great and gave us a lot of information about the animals. The feeding was great and anyone who wanted was allowed to feed an animal. The crew made sure that everyone stood in front and could experience the animals live and up close. Children were preferred to be brought out so they had a great experience. Unfortunately, a storm hit us, so we didn't see anything except the sharks. We were looking for dolphins and rays, but in vain. Still great tour! We would recommend it.

We had a great time! It was such fun to see the sharks up close and to learn much more about them. Captain Tanner did a great job leading the experience. He’s a great storyteller and teacher. He was very sweet with the children who were aboard. My husband and I really appreciated that he took the time to answer our questions and teach us more about the Keys. I would highly recommend this experience to everyone.
