This is the only shark tour in the USA and to our knowledge the only tour where guests do not get in the water to view the sharks. Delight in close-up views of sharks and a variety of other marine life. In this eco-friendly catamaran, travel through shallow waters to a location a few miles from shore, observing dolphins, stingrays, barracudas and native birds along the way. Bait is used to attract lemon, nurse and other types of sharks to the side of the boat. What To Expect

Key West Extreme Adventures

After check-in, the Tiger Cat will cruise through Key West harbor on the way to the Key West National Wildlife Refuge. Here guests will see numerous sharks and a variety of wildlife including dolphin.

Travel through shallow water close to mangrove islands as you make your way about 4 miles (6.4 km) away from shore to the shark viewing site. Along the way, keep your eyes open for dolphin, sea turtles, stingrays, barracudas, tarpon and an array of native birds. Listen to your experienced pilot discuss the delicate ecosystem of this area and its abundance of wildlife. Enjoy complimentary water, soda, juice — as well as the use of polarized sunglasses — during your trip. When you arrive at the shark destination, get ready for an unforgettable experience! Your pilot will use bait to draw a host of sharks that swim right up to the boat so you and your family can observe them in safety and comfort. See numerous lemon and nurse sharks, and watch out for bull, black tip and hammerhead sharks during nearly one hour of shark viewing. Capture dramatic photos you can't wait to share with family and friends.

Amazing experience! So cool to see sharks and we learned so much about them-very knowledgeable crew. They went above & beyond to ensure an excellent experience, especially for kiddos. My son will never forget feeding the sharks! We also saw dolphins. Highly recommend!

Great boat ride with guaranteed shark viewing

Captain Clay and his brother took us on an amazing trip out into the Gulf to see all manner of marine life. We started with shark viewing, which happened in waters where he goes regularly and so the sharks know him. We visited with a very polite pod of sharks, maybe about 10 or 15 of them, who were very daintily eating the chum that the captain and his brother were dangling from a fishing rod into the water. Got fantastic pictures. The children were even able to get into the act taking small pieces of fish and tossing them into the water for extra treats for the sharks. On the way back we had a rare sighting of tarpon and a distant sighting of a couple of dolphins who really kind of wanted to be alone so we didn't get too close to them. All in all a delightful 2-hour cruise with an excellent crew on a beautiful day.

This was great experience! The guys running it know so much about sharks and marine life in general and taught us a lot about sharks and their behaviors and feeding habits. The feeding experience was awesome and they ensured everyone got a good view and a chance to watch close up. They are truly respectful of the animals and very professional. We also got to see a tiger shark feeding on a dead sea turtles. A once in a lifetime experience. I highly recommend this tour! An entertaining and educational trip well worth 5 stars.
