This is the only shark tour in the USA and to our knowledge the only tour where guests do not get in the water to view the sharks. Delight in close-up views of sharks and a variety of other marine life. In this eco-friendly catamaran, travel through shallow waters to a location a few miles from shore, observing dolphins, stingrays, barracudas and native birds along the way. Bait is used to attract lemon, nurse and other types of sharks to the side of the boat. What To Expect
Key West Extreme Adventures Shark Tours
After check-in, the Tiger Cat will cruise through Key West harbor on the way to the Key West National Wildlife Refuge. Here guests will see numerous sharks and a variety of wildlife including dolphin.
Key West
Travel through shallow water close to mangrove islands as you make your way about 4 miles (6.4 km) away from shore to the shark viewing site. Along the way, keep your eyes open for dolphin, sea turtles, stingrays, barracudas, tarpon and an array of native birds. Listen to your experienced pilot discuss the delicate ecosystem of this area and its abundance of wildlife. Enjoy complimentary water, soda, juice — as well as the use of polarized sunglasses — during your trip. When you arrive at the shark destination, get ready for an unforgettable experience! Your pilot will use bait to draw a host of sharks that swim right up to the boat so you and your family can observe them in safety and comfort. See numerous lemon and nurse sharks, and watch out for bull, black tip and hammerhead sharks during nearly one hour of shark viewing. Capture dramatic photos you can't wait to share with family and friends.

5.00The crew was very friendly and knowledgeable. This is one of the things you MUST do in Key West. It was a great way to see dolphins and be on a boat with free soda and water and juice and opportunity to feed the sharks yourself if you’re up to it and catch some rays as well!

5.00My boyfriend and I did this shark wildlife viewing tour over the Thanksgiving holiday, and it was such a great experience. The team went above and beyond to accommodate us — they even got us onto an earlier boat when the tour we originally booked was likely to be canceled the next day due to bad weather. The entire trip was exactly as described, and we had an amazing time out on the water. We saw plenty of sharks and dolphins. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Key West! We’d absolutely come back and do it again.

1.00Unfortunately the trip was cancelled the evening before we were due to partake. Full refund was given but we drove to Key West specifically for the sharks. Shame there is no back up vessel. We ended up on a dolphin viewing boat and saw no dolphins so double bummer.

5.00Thoroughly enjoyed this trip. It was really easy to book via their website and when contacted, they were very helpful explaining what was included and what the experience would entail. Once we boarded the catamaran there was a great atmosphere on the boat with good humour between the Brothers and clear explanation about the safety. We then set off for the first stop which was to see the sharks. There were plenty of free soft drinks onboard and a great explanation of the surrounding waters and what lived in them. When we arrived to feed the sharks, within seconds there were half a dozen sharks around the boat which was brilliant and there was a lot of information on how sharks are very misunderstood and explanation on how they survive in the ocean. It was fascinating to see how they fed and the pictures we got were amazing. The team made sure everyone got a great view of the sharks feeding and even provided some underwater GoPro footage of the sharks which was brilliant. After this we went for a great tour around the Key West bay with excellent views of the island whilst looking for Dolphins, Turtles and any other marine life that may be about. Overall an excellent Tour, well worth the money!

5.00Most amazing tour. They took the time to explain everything and took great care of us. We had a lot of shade and free drinks. They also payed attention that we all had a good view of the sharks. Never seen a shark so near. I would book it again.
