This is the only shark tour in the USA and to our knowledge the only tour where guests do not get in the water to view the sharks. Delight in close-up views of sharks and a variety of other marine life. In this eco-friendly catamaran, travel through shallow waters to a location a few miles from shore, observing dolphins, stingrays, barracudas and native birds along the way. Bait is used to attract lemon, nurse and other types of sharks to the side of the boat. What To Expect
Key West Extreme Adventures Shark Tours
After check-in, the Tiger Cat will cruise through Key West harbor on the way to the Key West National Wildlife Refuge. Here guests will see numerous sharks and a variety of wildlife including dolphin.
Key West
Travel through shallow water close to mangrove islands as you make your way about 4 miles (6.4 km) away from shore to the shark viewing site. Along the way, keep your eyes open for dolphin, sea turtles, stingrays, barracudas, tarpon and an array of native birds. Listen to your experienced pilot discuss the delicate ecosystem of this area and its abundance of wildlife. Enjoy complimentary water, soda, juice — as well as the use of polarized sunglasses — during your trip. When you arrive at the shark destination, get ready for an unforgettable experience! Your pilot will use bait to draw a host of sharks that swim right up to the boat so you and your family can observe them in safety and comfort. See numerous lemon and nurse sharks, and watch out for bull, black tip and hammerhead sharks during nearly one hour of shark viewing. Capture dramatic photos you can't wait to share with family and friends.

5.00The Captain and crew did a great job of coaxing the sharks out on a cold day. Got great photos and videos. We also saw dolphins at another location and again got got photos and a great overall experience. Highly recommend!

5.00This was probably the best money we spent on our vacation! It was a fantastic experience seeing 8' sharks up close. The crew was super informative, knowledgeable of the area and the ecosystem, and they really know what they are doing. We got close to some dolphins on the way back also. Highly recommend doing this if you are staying in Key West!

5.00The guide was super funny and informative he knew so many facts about sharks which made it super funny for me. It’s a small business which I love! They were super considerate of us and made sure we were able to find the ship okay. You even can feed the sharks! My toddler loved it. Just make sure you bring a jacket as it gets windy and it was cloudy when we went and we got a little cold.
Don't miss it. A must go tour.

5.00We had a great time. The group size was perfect and not crowded. We appreciated the staff made sure to flip people around to ensure everyone got an upfront view and opportunity for photos. They were entertaining and we enjoyed the added education on the sharks, sea life, etc.. Plenty of sharks to see, not much else like dolphins or turtles, but that is not to the fault of the staff or the trip, it was due to weather and tides, but we still had a great time and felt it was worth the cost.
If you visit Key West, this is a must
