This is the only shark tour in the USA and to our knowledge the only tour where guests do not get in the water to view the sharks. Delight in close-up views of sharks and a variety of other marine life. In this eco-friendly catamaran, travel through shallow waters to a location a few miles from shore, observing dolphins, stingrays, barracudas and native birds along the way. Bait is used to attract lemon, nurse and other types of sharks to the side of the boat. Learn all about Key West wildlife and enjoy complimentary soda, juice and chips throughout this family-friendly tour.

What To Expect
Key West Extreme Adventures
After check-in, the Tiger Cat will cruise through Key West harbor on the way to the Key West National Wildlife Refuge. Here guests will see numerous sharks and a variety of wildlife including dolphin.
Key West
Travel through shallow water close to mangrove islands as you make your way about 4 miles (6.4 km) away from shore to the shark viewing site. Along the way, keep your eyes open for dolphin, sea turtles, stingrays, barracudas, tarpon and an array of native birds. Listen to your experienced pilot discuss the delicate ecosystem of this area and its abundance of wildlife. Enjoy complimentary water, soda, juice — as well as the use of polarized sunglasses — during your trip. When you arrive at the shark destination, get ready for an unforgettable experience! Your pilot will use bait to draw a host of sharks that swim right up to the boat so you and your family can observe them in safety and comfort. See numerous lemon and nurse sharks, and watch out for bull, black tip and hammerhead sharks during nearly one hour of shark viewing. Capture dramatic photos you can't wait to share with family and friends.

5.00We wanted to get on the water in Key West. This shark Adventure looked fun. Definitely exceeded our expectations. Crew was fun and gave a ton of interesting info about the Ocean. The shark feeding was a great way to see Sharks up close. Literally swarming like 2 ft away from us. I see why this tour has 5 star reviews.

5.00I’ll start by saying I’m probably the world’s biggest skeptic for attractions like this. In a world full of tourist traps and too many people ready to separate you from your hard-earned cash, I am always hesitant to sign up for stuff like this while I’m trying to enjoy my vacation. Our day had already started out super rough, so I wasn’t exactly excited to get on the boat. KW Extreme Adventures Shark Tour is NOT one of these traps. Clay and Matt put on an outstanding trip, and created a very welcoming environment for my family. It’s a “kids first” show, which was awesome for my daughter whose current obsession is all things marine life. Letting her stand at the bow, feed the sharks, interrupt them with her own shark facts, and even “drive” was the absolute highlight of our entire vacation. Charlotte personally rates the tour as “amazing”. And there was no shortage of entertainment. As well as the sharks, we spotted a pod of dolphins on the way in, and a pair of loggerheads on the way out (as well as some distant spotted eagle rays). Clay and Matt made my daughter’s hard day very special, and we cannot thank them enough for that.

5.00Amazing experience! Thank you to the captain and crew for making this a memorable day in the Keys. On top of the shark feeding experience, we were able to see 3 different pods of dolphins which was INCREDIBLE. The captain was super knowledgeable, and we had a great time.
