The weather can change from port to the park. Sunny day in Burnie but cloudy and drizzly at the park. Great views though. We enjoyed our tour.

A beautiful day and our guide was exceptional! A wonderful blend of knowledge and humor that made the trip extra special. My only regret was that it had to end. Thank you Tassie Tours for the amazing journey and memories! Highly recommend!!

Very enjoyable short walks in Cradle Mountain National Park. Beautiful scenery. Our Guide, Patrick, took us into the park and took us to several locations. On a couple of 1 way tracks, he would pick us up at the other end. He was extremely knowledgeable and enjoyable to listen to. Overall it was a bit rushed, but this was due to the tight cruise ship schedule and the fact that Cradle Mtn is just over an hour from Burnie. Patrick was very efficient in guiding us on specific walks and viewing wildlife. No time was wasted trying to find the best trails that would stay in our timeframe. A++++ Thanks Patrick and Tassie Tours. - Don W, Utah, USA

This was by far the best excursion we’ve had so far. Patrick from Tassie Tours was an amazing driver and guide. Cradle Mountain was so beautiful. We got to see wallabies and echidnas but unfortunately not the elusive wombat 😀. I wish we would have booked another tour with them for Hobart. Would highly recommend booking from them thru their website.

We travelled to a beautiful park. Made it back to port just in the Knick of time. Peter was creative and knew his stuff. Wish we had had better instructions about how the port shuttle was needed to take you to the town to meet the excursion shuttle leader.

We saw a lot of beautiful countryside on the way from the cruise port to Cradle Mountain National Park. It was a drizzly day up on the mountain, but there is a nice lodge offering hot food and a fireplace to warm up. The tour went along the coast on the return for a different view. Our guide was a local and shared interesting information about the area.

Our guide, Jeremy, was knowledgeable and interacted with the group which made it more person. Although it was cold, windey and raining sideways, (we bought Mac in a Sac rain jackets), it was worth the views. We saw wallabys and wombats in their natural environment which was pretty neat. Very interesting scenery and countryside. It was a nice way to see the working side of Tasmania.

My wife and I had a great time with the mountain views, touring the Cabin, and doing the various hikes that our tour guide recommended. We also enjoyed the local wildlife Wombats.

This was a long drive but worth it! Did not have time to do anything extra. Make sure you bring a jacket and rain gear. We were underdressed and it was cold. It would have been great if they had warned us. Still memorable and great to see.
