The sail on a traditional boat was great. I went at 4pm which was a great time of day to go with the sun on the water. The guide and driver picked me up from the hotel and took me to the pier where we waited for a boat to be available. We then spent an hour on the water.

The tour was not as expected, ride was on a older sail boat, although our guide was extremely nice we really did not receive any information or history on the River

So the actual ride was very relaxing. It is between two bridges in central Cairo but a serene break from the hubub of Cairo itself. The boatman was friendly and able to answer questions about what we saw on the trip. On the negative side the length of the tour includes pickup time which makes sense for longer tours but when that accounts for a hour of the 2 hour trip it needs to be made clear. The tour guide (described as an "onboard Egyptologist guide" on the website) was very pleasant but said nothing during the trip. Not sure why an Egyptologist is needed when there is no ancient Egypt to see. No water was provided but they bought some and some juices on the trip back. A cool box on the boat would have been better.

Had a great time on my tour on the Nile. My guide Hamad Abo Rakika was super friendly and knowledgeable about the landmarks and sights along the tour. I also received great service from our driver Kareem. The whole experience was very easy and enjoyable and I would definitely recommend it.

We opted for the motor boat ride. We went under 3 bridges, got great photos, relaxed in the serenity of the river at dusk and had a falafel snack, which wasn't much. If you go at dusk you'll definitely want dinner later. I'd advise foregoing the snack. It's the ride, views and sunset on the Nile that you're seeking and that you'll get.

We were picked up sharp on time and taken close to the Four Seasons hotel, dokdok docks to get on the boat. The ride is short circle towards the bridge and back. The fountain in the middle of the Nile wasn't working. Maybe because we'd been in Egypt for 3 days, the tour guide didn't say much at all. We asked questions about how the wooden boats are made, what the sail is made of, and historic sail materials. He didn't know. So don't expect an Egyptalogist!

Our private ride with the felucca was nice and relaxing .We got picked up from our hotel Our guide Omar was a young man very friendly and talkative . (Actually a university student) I had the opportunity to talk with him and learn about Egyptians daily routines , studies etc As for the ride in the Nile it is worth taking the ride ( not much to see , but one gets to enjoy the ride on the longest river in the world ) . We were dropped off back at our hotel and on the way back both the guide and also the young driver (Omar also ) who was an exceptional good driver wanted to treat us with their favourite and well know koshary meal unfortunately we did not have that much time for the meal we had to return to the hotel . We promised both next time when we visit Egypt . A quick note Omar the driver drove us to the airport also after midnight . His driving made us feel we were is good hands . Very good and responsible driver !

Booked the previous night. Was collected promptly on time and driven to the boat. Had a great time touring the Nile. The captain was very accommodating and our guide (Azoma) was very friendly and spoke fluent English. All in all we enjoyed ourselves and would recommend this experience
