An unbelievable experience, with high speeds so close to huge rocks, you can almost touch them, and high speed turns that throw you almost out of the boat! Wear waterproof trousers and jackets if you sit in front of the boat, we were happy we did. A must tour if you are in Queenstown!

We booked a morning ride before our flight to Auckland and it was perfect. It is a 25 min ride with a check in 30 min prior to so it’s about an hour long activity and not far from town or the airport. The ride itself was very fun. It’s a must do in Queenstown. I felt very safe and the drivers go through lots of training. These boats function like big jetskis. You may get slightly splashed especially if you sit on the outsides. Nothing too crazy but a water resistant jacket as your outer layer would be helpful. Sunglasses and sunscreen are helpful too. You need to be able to step down into the boat a few feet while it’s in the water. My mom and husband also had a fun time. We recommend!
