Meet and greet with your driver/tour guide. The first to consider about this tour is the time of the low tide of your tour date. We need to perfect the time to go to Magpupungko during low tide. In order to see the beautiful nature made swimming pool and the amazing rock formation called the Magpupungko Rock. For this particular tour, we do not have a standard time for the places to go to.

Sometimes, you will be visiting the Magpupungko first or Cloud 9 where the most famous surfing spot here at Siargao Island. The Nearest from General Luna is Cloud 9 and the farthest is Magpupungko. In between, you will visit the breathtaking view of coconut mountain view, Take a Memorable picture in the middle of the road with coconut trees that lines up on each side. See the amazing Maasin River, where you can make make a rope swing and dive at Maasin River by its famous “The Bent Palm Tree”. Have an optional tour at Tayangban Cave and visit Panghungawan Marsh.

What To Expect

The Maasin River is located on the Siargao Circumferential Road. You can find here the most famous bent palm tree in the entire Philippines. This is the place where you can do a rope swing and canoe riding

Magpupungko Beach

Visiting Magpupungko Rock Pool Top tourist destination here at Siargao Island. Never, never leave Siargao Island if you have not visited the Magpupungko. The wonders of nature created for us. Nature made swimming pools. Not 1 but 2 big nature made swimming pools. Crystal clear water that is being clean natural during high tide. Best time to be here is during low tide. In order for you to walk around the nature made swimming pool rock beds and see the the Magpupungko Rock Formation.

While in Siargao, don’t miss out on visiting the island’s top spots! We explored incredible destinations like Magpupungko Rock Pools, the picturesque Maasin River, serene Sugba Lagoon, the scenic Coconut Viewdeck, and even discovered a secret beach. These attractions are spread across the island, so set aside around 7–9 hours for the full tour. We opted for a private tour, which gave us more flexibility and personalised attention. It was absolutely worth it! Activities included swimming, kayaking, rope swinging, and just soaking in the natural beauty of the island. Our tour guide was fantastic—super knowledgeable, accommodating to all our needs and made sure we had a fun and safe experience throughout the day. Don’t miss the “Human Drone” experience at the Coconut Viewdeck—it’s both impressive and hilarious. The camera skills of these guys are next-level! The entire tour cost us around 15,000 PHP for a group of 7, including lunch and drop-off at the location of our choice. It was truly a great day out, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Siargao!
