What To Expect
Fenais da Luz
This parish located on the north coast of São Miguel island is where we start and end the tour. After starting our tour on paved roads, we will ride along the seafront of and explore dirt roads in this area.
This is a mountain with an altitude of 845 meters. The breathtaking view is very similar to “Miradouro da Boca do Inferno” but from a higher perspective (accessible with the quads) and even more magnificent due to its altitude. From here you can see Lagoa Rasa, Lagoa de Santiago, Lagoa Verde, Lagoa Azul and a view to the whole crater of Sete Cidades dormant volcano. If weather is good, this one of the high lights of the tour, where we can see almost the whole island from the top.

5.00This was an awesome ride, but wear warm clothing! It is cold in May. Gloves are worth bringing as well. Bruno was an excellent tour guide!

5.00What a wonerful day! Bruno did a great job. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselfs. Dress warmly if going in May. Also bring euro for the taxi. If not you may have a nasty cab driver like we did.

5.00Our Side bySide adventure was amazing!! The route was perfect!! The guide was very helpful!! It was a cooler day but we were dressed for the conditions!! If it is cloudy or foggy your view may not be great. For our trip we had partial views and it was wonderful!!! 5 star tour!!!

5.00This tour was wonderful. It was cooler but that didn't stop the fun!! We were guided up the hill side stopping along the way to view an ancient aqueduct. Once at the top we could view Sete Cidades and adjacent lake. The side by side was in excellent condition. Bruno made sure our group was together at all times and offered to take pictures often. This tour was worth every penny.
