What To Expect

We leave in our 8-seater van to the Sierra Nevada natural park, it will be a trip of just over 3 hours with several stops along the way to enjoy all the beauty of the north face of the park. (Currently, for security purposes after the pandemic, the groups have a maximum of 6 people). We will visit several points of interest that cover the municipalities of Monachil and Guejar Sierra. We go to the limit where you can reach the car at 2,500 meters above sea level, it is a space widely used to know the high peaks of the Sierra Nevada, both as a starting point for hiking and in winter it is possible to enjoy the snow without having to go through the ski station. Included in this tour are photos taken by our guide with his professional camera.

I think just ensure warm clothes as will be outside high in the mountains. It is very beautiful so totally worth it.

Lovely trip to the top of Sierra Nevada. And much easier than hiking it! We would definitely book it again. Lots of great pictures and we managed to see some mountain goats too.

Great break from the city. Julio was an excellent host and very informative. We had the van to ourselves due to most tourists returning home to get kids to school. Julio's willingness to take only two people for the entire trip speaks well for his dedication and character. Well done. Highly recommend for the natural beauty and grandeur of the original Sierra Madre.

This was our favorite activity in Spain. Everyone tells you to visit the Alhambra when you go to Granada, but you’re really missing out if you skip the Sierras. Julio was a great guide, knowledgeable, easygoing, and clearly loves the area. He took us to some beautiful spots, and we were lucky enough to see snow on the peak and mountain goats along the way. Afterward, we wished we’d booked his other tour to Monachil too. It was such a great way to get out of the city and see the incredible natural landscape around Granada.

Nice trip together with son from 10 years to 2500 meters altitude. Along the way had good explanation from Julio and beautiful views seen.

Julio was a great guide, such a friendly person who knows a lot about the surroundings. We did a snow shoe tour which meant a lot of fun. The tour was easy. The mountains are amazing.

Our tour with Julio was very pleasant. Although it was very cold and we were the only two people on the tour, we went into the mountains. We loved the viewpoints. We even saw wild horses. Julio gave us information about the area. My friend really liked stones, to which Julio responded with a cabin.

Thankyou for an amazing morning in the mountains! Julio was a brilliant and informative guide. His driving was smooth and safe on the narrow, twisty roads up to the mountains. All in all, I highly recommend this trip to see some beautiful scenery and to get out of the city for a few hours.

Amazing views of the Sierra Nevada mountains. Julio is an excellent guide, who took us to several different view points and gave us the history of the area. This hike is a comfortable hike, and the views from the peak (second highest in the area) are breathtaking. We also saw lots of mountain goats! We definitely recommend this hike to anyone that wants to see the beauty of the Sierra Nevada mountains.
