Godfrey Tours will pick you up at your ship or hotel and take you shopping in downtown Charlotte Amalie. Once done with shopping, board again for a scenic two hour sightseeing tour of the island. Enjoy the beautiful scenic views and have an unforgettable time on St. Thomas.

You should bring along the following items: bathing suit, towel, sunscreen, and cash for lunch, drinks and souvenirs. Drinks on the tour bus are complimentary.
While shopping or at the beach, your items will be secured in the front cab of the tour bus.
If Shopping is part of your tour, once you're finished, we meet at the Liberty Bell in Emancipation Park. Shops close at 1:00 PM on Sundays.
Coki Beach and Sapphire Beaches are free but Magens Bay has an entrance fee of $5.00 per person.
Your Tour Package does not include the beach entrance fee, Coral World entrance fee or any other activity.
Free drinks are provided on the tour buses all day for our passengers.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
What To Expect
Godfrey Tours will pick you up at your ship or hotel at and take you shopping in downtown Charlotte Amalie. Once done with shopping, you can board again for a scenic two hour sightseeing tour of the island. Our tour will take you to the Mafolie Hotel to overlook the Bluebeard and Blackbeard's pirate castles, then up to the highest point, the Mountain Top where you will find the famous rum daiquiri. We'll continue the tour and enjoy the view of Hassel island, Water Island, and the island of St. Croix along the way. We'll continue to Sir Francis Drake seat, (the British pirate) overlooking Magens Bay. Once you've completed your tour, we will take you back to your ship with time to spare or to your hotel. Beach entrance fee is NOT included in package price.

5.00I took this tour on my last day before heading to the airport. The tour guide was flexible and helpful about my pick-up/drop-off points. You see a lot of the island from an open shuttle, from the beaches and waterfront to high mountain overlooks. You learn about the history of the Virgin Islands and geography. There are several opportunities to shop, or visit a beach, and snacks are provided.

3.00Pick up location and timings, although specified, were unclear when we arrived in the port. Our driver was late. We were dropped in Charlotte amelie for two hours shopping. Unfortunately it was a Sunday and very early. Virtually all the vendors were closed. What a waste of time. We weren't told this was the location of the 99 steps, otherwise we would have walked it. Once we left the shopping stop, the tour picked up. We especially enjoyed the Koki beach stop at the end.

5.00This was a nice day to pack in some sights in you have limited amount of days in the area. The bus was super comfortable. The meal at the pub was delicious. Highly recommend this tour.

1.00We have been on many tours with different tour guides, but this was the worse. It was very uncoordinated, the female guide was rude and aggravated. No one seemed to know what to do or how to do it. I will never use Godfrey Tours again.

1.00I don’t like giving one-star reviews because I understand how much they can impact a business, but in this case it was warranted. We scheduled a pickup for 11:30 AM, and no one ever showed. We waited 45 minutes with no updates or communication (even after calling and asking the nearby taxi people). At that point, we had to move on since the lenght of the tour and cruise on boarding time was way too tight. I also immediately requested a refund (as of now still hasn't been given). I looked into the reviews again and this isn’t an isolated incident. If you check the 1–3 star reviews here and on Viator, you’ll see people having similar experiences. This seems to be a recurring problem for this tour. There are other problems that other people have reported but thowe can be read on their reviews. I'm glad some people seemed to enjoy the tour but I'll advise extreme caution here.

4.00Great tour guide! Super knowledgeable about the history of the Virgin Islands and all of the hurricanes. Very safe driver too. Only suggestion for a future tourist would be to not plan this excursion on a day when cruise ships are coming in to dock and not on a day of a parade in town . We were stuck in heavy traffic for about 45-60 minutes. Our tour wasn’t shorted in any way but just something i wish we’d known ahead of time. Trip to the mountain was scenic and the store at the top has tons of touristy offerings at reasonable prices; my husband loved the banana daiquiri too. Lots of chances to stop and take photos.

5.00Godfrey was our guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and flexible. There were 4 different parties in our group. After our tour, he took us to which ever beach we wanted to go to and more shopping if you wanted. I believe our 4-hour trip ended up being 8 hours. Lol. Which was awesome for us. We were on vacation and had the whole day free. We were planning to head to the beach on our own, but it worked out better this way. We did not have to worry about getting a taxi. Everyone got what they wanted out of the tour.
