Enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience with a snorkeling tour of Silfra fissure!
Float between two tectonic plates, between the continents, in the clearest water in the world (100m+ visibility) while admiring the mesmerizing colors of this underwater world.
You don’t need to be a certified diver in order to experience water at its clearest! Snorkeling at Silfra is suitable for anyone who feels comfortable in water and knows how to swim. This family-friendly activity is suitable for children from 12 years old.

Absolutely stunning views underwater. They provide you with a dry suit, snorkel gear, and flippers. They warn you that it is cold (2*C) but the experience is totally worth it! Our guide was great - gave us a little safety briefing and interesting facts about the fissure. They do take some pictures for an extra $20 but I used a go pro and those came out great.

We enjoyed this activity immensely. The snorkelling experience was just as described- beautiful clear water with plenty of time to enjoy it. We had 2 very helpful guides, Hana and Abolini. They gave clear instructions and were very accommodating. We would highly recommend this.
