Our tour begins with an exciting ferry crossing at the confluence of three majestic rivers: the Mekong, Tonle Sap, and Bassac. From there, we head to charming local villages, where you'll take a leisurely stroll to experience the rhythm of local life and visit a vibrant wet market. As we continue, immerse yourself in the lush countryside, passing through a variety of plantations, including mango, banana, corn, and lemongrass farms. After a refreshing break at a village, we hop back on our Tuk Tuk (Romork) to witness the intricate art of sedge mat weaving, a traditional craft practiced by villagers along the Mekong River. The adventure continues with stops at serene paddy fields and picturesque lotus farms before we arrive at a silk weaving workshop, where you'll marvel at the skill and dedication behind this timeless craft. This journey offers a perfect blend of culture, nature, and authentic local experiences!

Really enjoyed this tour. Only 2 of us on it and it made the itinerary a little more flexible. You get a great insight to local customs and way of life. The temples are spectacular and we were the only ones there! Lunch on the floating restaurant was huge and tasty. An excellent tour all round

What a great experience to see the local sights from a Tuk tuk ! Our driver was excellent and our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. From the bumpy roads to the rickety bridge to lunch the whole tour was amazing from start to finish. Most definitely recommend!

I really love the trip my guide was perfect. He is witty, he explains about the journey and he provided a very tailored trip to myself, skipping sights that I am not keen and staying on and introducing things I enjoyed

Loved every part of our day! Our Tuk tuk driver and guide (Mon) were so friendly and helpful. The stall holders at the market were engaging and friendly. I enjoyed tasting rice cakes wrapped in banana leaves. My friend and I both loved the talented silk craftswomen who welcomed us to their home, taught us how to spin silk and use the manual loom to make scarves. We enjoyed beautiful locally grown fruit and came away with beautiful scarves for ourselves, family and friends. It was an enjoyable educational experience. We saw a machine operated loom which was much noisier than the earlier loom, tried tofu skin and visited temples with Buddhist monks and another with Buddhist nuns. We also interacted with local villagers and enjoyed a delicious lunch with a beautiful view over the water. I am coeliac so can’t eat gluten and am happy to report that Mon ensured my food was safe for me. Loved everything about our day and this was all due to our lovely Tuk tuk driver and guide. I have no hesitation recommending them. Thanks for a wonderful day out 🙏👏🙌♥️

We thoroughly enjoyed our Silk Island / Countryside tour with Narith and Simon. It was great to get out of PP to get a glimpse of how locals live daily. We experienced ferry crossings, tofu skin manufacturing, grass mat weaving, silk production and weaving, fresh fruit tasting, rice, taro and lemongrass fields, mango trees, local foods at lunchtime and more. Thank you!

Very knowledgeable and personable guides. Would highly recommend. Learned a lot about the people and their culture and about the food they grow and the dishes they make and eat. And meant some very warm and welcoming people.

I totally love my guide Narith. He was sincere, observant and witty. We had a good trip from the moment we met at my hotel lobby. It’s great that he worked in the fields when he was younger so he was able to explain the workings of the farm as we went through the fields and plantation.

My wife and I live in Cambodia (Siem Reap) but wanted to take a tour with visiting family because it's just easier and a great way to see things you would otherwise miss on your own or just getting a generic tuktuk driver. First off, our guide Knut was incredible and made us feel welcomed and cared for the entire time. He answered all of our questions, took us behind the scenes in rural areas to see the real Cambodia, had us laughing, and is just the nicest dude you'll ever meet. The tour itself is hands down one of the best bang for your buck experiences I've taken. Round trip transport, all expenses included, and even a meal at the end? Yeah, it's a steal! Not to mention a super authentic experience all around. I don't love Phnom Penh so this was a great way to get out of the city and into nature, meet locals, and learn about how people outside the city live day to day life. It's a great experience for families, couples, solo travellers etc and I think everyone who takes this tour will walk away with a deeply enriching cultural experience. Again, cheers Knut, you're the man!

Nice walk out of Phnom Penh. I particularly liked the countryside with fruit trees and their fruits on the tree , animals and just the rural life of people. A weaving center would be sufficient. Not sure what they sell is silk!! On the other hand systematically include the temple we were lucky to see because we were early and favor walking for proximity to the population and contacts. Great guide who knows the different professions and is full of humor!
