Nice trip a whole day! Guiden Thong, got to show us a lot. We drove Tuk-Tuk and it was airy and quite nice. Good driver. We got to see the countryside with everything they grow, got to taste something and stopped a little around. Visited silk weaving, oh then you must of course buy something... very nice craftsmanship. We stopped at a place where they produce soybean extract, a strange way to do it, never seen anything like that. Got drinks, fruit and lovely lunch on a fleet by the river. Cross river race by ferry several times. The trip is recommended!

Interesting to see life in the countryside and so close to the city. Seeing a silk scarf lifecycle from cocoon, weaving to finished product. Lunch by the river was relaxing and tasty.

Wonderful afternoon on Silk Island. Great to be in the countryside. Really interesting visit to the silk farm and a quick stop at a place making tofu skin. Stopped at a beautifully painted nun temple. Lovely meal by the river as the sun set. Mon, our guide, was friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend this trip to escape the hustle of the city.

Tong is just a great guide!! Knowledgeful, courteous, efficient, courteous. There are no words to describe how much we enjoy the tour with him! Everything was done without rush, we stayed wherever we wanted, Tong invited us to ask questions, answered courteously and sometimes with humor. Great exchange for the price!

Traveling through Phnom Penh and the Silk and Mekong islands with Suk Mon and Chhel was an unforgettable experience. Suk Mon served as our guide, bringing deep knowledge, thoughtful explanations, and a spirit of adventure to every stop. His ability to connect us with the rhythms of Cambodian life, whether introducing us to silk weavers, explaining the interdependence of family businesses, or guiding us through sunbaked villages, made the journey both educational and inspiring. Alongside him, Chhel, an experienced tuk tuk driver and proud grandfather of three, navigated the bustling streets of Phnom Penh and the quiet paths of the islands with remarkable skill and warmth. Together, they created a seamless balance: Suk Mon as the storyteller and cultural interpreter, and Chhel as the trusted navigator who carried us safely and comfortably between city and countryside. Highlights included distinguishing between different herbs, medicinal plants, and crops, on local farms, learning about silk and cotton weaving, visiting soybean producers, and enjoying a delicious lunch at a floating restaurant on Mekong Island, complete with fresh coconut water and hammocks by the river. Thanks to their guidance and care, we witnessed firsthand the many ways families sustain themselves and contribute to Phnom Penh, leaving us with memories of not just a tour, but a heartfelt connection to Cambodian life.
