5.00It was a good experience. Transit becomes easier at this airport. Although it is not easy to see the main attractions. After five times I've been there. Only in the last one and asking I met the waterfall.

5.00I have travelled extensively throughout the world and in my opinion, I still think Changi Airport, Singapore, offers the best airport experience in the world. After decades it may have slipped from holding the No 1 title however, it has remained modern, comfortable and interesting. In comparison, having been to the current title holder numerous times, I think Changi has a warmer, more family friendly feel while catering to every travellers needs. Over the years things of interest have been added to keep you engaged while waiting for your flight. There is a rain vortex (waterfall), butterfly garden, kids play equipment, movies, lots of eateries and even a 12 meter tall slide for family fun, to name a few things to entertain you. This airport has many lounge areas with chairs comfortable enough to snooze in. It runs so efficiently, is clean and airy and the entry and departure process is more streamline than ever. I must mention the slight hickup I experienced when recently heading through the arrival area. Officials had a few issues with the new fingerprint system and after many attemps to get me through the auto opening gates, I had to be processed manually. This was happening to many passengers however, there were many helpful staff ready and on hand to assist. I am confident that this issue will be quickly sorted.
