Chinatown
The tours are fully customizable, but if you are going for a shorter 3-hour tour, we would recommend concentrating on one of the major ethnic districts such as Chinatown where we will tell you a bit more about how Singaporeans live, work and play. We will also tell you a bit more about how the city is planned
Kampong Glam
Kampong Glam is a vibrant and colorful neighborhood in Singapore that will transport you to another world. As you wander through the narrow streets lined with colorful shophouses and street art, you'll feel like you've stepped into a version of Singapore that's been preserved in time. But don't let the old-world charm fool you - Kampong Glam is also home to a host of trendy cafes, bars, and restaurants that cater to a hip and trendy crowd. As you explore, you'll find a mix of traditional businesses like spice shops and textile stores alongside more modern establishments like artisanal coffee shops and trendy cocktail bars. No visit to Kampong Glam would be complete without stopping by the iconic Sultan Mosque, which serves as the spiritual center of the neighborhood. So if you're looking to experience a side of Singapore that's full of character and flavor, make sure to add Kampong Glam to your itinerary.

I have done the 4 free walking trips over the past 12 months - they are all amazing. The guides are all Singaporeans and are full of fascination information and anecdotes that brings Singapore alive. Also providing details of food, cultures, current social policies etc. A must do for any Singapore trip. I enjoy Singapore so much more now that I have this background and fun.

I did many walking tours and in my opinion Cheyenne is by far the best who I ever encountered. Very professional, a lot of useful interesting information but not too much, very good English, extremely good voice, you can always hear and listen to her even on noisy streets. It took 3,5 hours but never felt long. Highly highly recommended

Loved this Free tour. Wei was a superb host, easy to understand and generous with information. What I appreciated most was a glimpse of how local people actually live and how the government supports its residents. Singapore is a very expensive city for tourists, yet all the residents seem well looked after, and the resources of the island are well optimised. Unfortunately for me, I only came across this tour the day before I left, so time and local currency were low. I would have done it on the second day of arrival, giving me time to go back and revisit many of the locations we saw. The main Buddhist temple is 4 stories high with a museum including the tooth of Buddha and a vegetarian cafe. You can spend half a day just there. The Hawker market is an experience like no other, but you need time to explore it and enjoy a meal. I would have done all the offered tours if I hadn't left it to the last day.

We had a tour of more than three hours on the history of Singapore. It was very varied, and we learned a lot, while enjoying ourselves. Our guide was very knowledgeable and shared lots of insights (and resources for after the tour). He was also very accommodating of our questions, and we also had a break.

Wonderful tour, highly recommended to anyone visiting. We did the Chinatown Walking Tour and learned so much about the history, architecture, art, city planning, and Hawker culture of Singapore. Wei, our guide, was so knowledgeable and happy to answer any and all questions. He took the time to get to know everyone on the tour a little bit and tailored his recommendations accordingly. The tour was well-paced, with good breaks for food and bathroom stops and Wei was mindful to keep us in the shade as much as possible. After the tour, we even got a follow-up email with deep dives into some of the food and culture topics, and more recommendations for what to do with our remaining time. We enjoyed the experience so much and it added a lot to our whole trip 😊

Wei was our guide on the Hawker Tales tour. We couldn't have wish for a more informative, friendly and enjoyable guide. We will definitely join another tour in the future and will highly recommend to anyone wishing to learn more about this beautiful city, whether they are visitors or locals.

I am so glad I went on this tour with Cheyenne, particularly after going on an expensive disappointing tour the previous day booked on Get Your Guide. Cheyenne taught us so much, answered all questions, moved the tour along at a good pace and covered so much ground. The 25 Singaporean dollar minimum recommended payment to the guide is an incredible deal for such a comprehensive professional tour that I highly recommend.
